@mattnightingale I learned from Southern Baptist presidents that the Bible is always literally true when it doesn't apply to them, but instructions to be faithful to their wives are metaphorical and it's difficult to interpret what Jesus really meant when He said to feed the poor people.

@djk29a @holyqueerit Correct, my dr said it needed to be both present and a problem in childhood, which is hard esp. for girls whose symptoms are less obvious/more likely to have been masked. He dx me, but with only 4 (of 7) symptoms present in childhood called it "ADHD - unspecified type"

@holyqueerit A part of the adult ADHD diagnosis also includes whether symptoms were present in childhood, which makes it extra tricky for anyone who was super good at masking. No, my teachers did not comment on my disorganization, cause I hid it so well.
