@AInewssX Survivorship bias multiplied by the speed of AI. The real edge lies in the strict discipline of your testing framework, not in the volume of generated code.
@After_Dark_AI That sounds great for offline use, but with a limit of 4,000 tokens, you'll have to break tasks down into very small requests to stay within the limit.
I generated 1,000 trading strategies out of pure random numbers.
The best one made +182% in 5 years. Sharpe 1.38. Looks like a real edge.
Then I ran it on 5 new years. It lost 4.6%.
Nothing in there was real. Zero edge by design. The winner was just the lucky one out of a big pile.
This matters if you let AI test your ideas. It can run 100 variants in a minute, and every run is one more try. About 45 tries on 5 years of data is enough for pure luck to reach Sharpe 1.
A hold-out test doesn’t save you either, because it doesn’t count how many things you tried before it.
What I’d do:
Write the rule before you test it.
Count every variant, failed ones too.
Make the AI report that number, not only the winner.
Use your fresh data once.
How many variants do you test before you trust a result?
this is getting f*cking insane: Claude built a full starship breakdown video from nothing, and it looks like a movie trailer.
I didn’t touch Blender or After Effects. Claude wrote all the code, and I set it up so you can watch the ship come apart piece by piece:
design the ship → Claude
split it into 12 parts → code
light it → code
change it → one line
That last one is my favourite. The whole video is a script:
TRIM = “#5FD4FF”
Change that value, render again, and every glowing line on the ship turns a new colour, so editing the video is just editing text.
Zero install, no editor, made in one chat. Prompt in the reply
What would you build first?
This is literally my AI agent when I ask it to just write a basic script. Twelve hours of deep thought, dollars spent on tokens, and in the end, only three lines of code were copied.
@Aditya_181105 Buying a domain for $70 million just to host a test bed for autonomous agents there—that’s the absolute pinnacle of the Silicon Valley economy. The business model is just off the charts
We’re excited to announce our new CapCut plugin is coming soon to @ChatGPT at CapCutWorldLA.
The plugin brings CapCut's video editing and generation tools alongside ChatGPT. You can start with an idea in ChatGPT, bring it to life with the CapCut plugin right inside ChatGPT, then take your draft video to CapCut's web editor to refine, share and publish.
By bringing the CapCut product you already love and use in ChatGPT, we're making content creation more seamless and efficient.

Chinese frontier labs are moving at a terrifying pace. Kimi K3.1 Pro is now topping leaderboards against Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra in agentic and SWE benchmarks.
The wildest part? They didn't even bother using Gemini as a baseline comparison anymore.
The problem isn’t that AI is intelligent. It isn’t. The problem is that too many adults (but not all) are at once mechanistic, imitative, unimaginative, stupid, formulaic, influenceable, & gullible, arrogant beyond their skill set, & too expensive to maintain.
Microsoft's AI is now outperforming doctors in medical diagnoses.
A new Science study reveals:
- Complex cases: AI 83% vs Doctors 36%
- ER patients: AI 80% vs Doctors 47%
The system autonomously asks follow-up questions, orders tests, and double-checks the diagnosis, all while reducing costs.
@rynorhn Reinventing side-channel hardware attacks from scratch just to bypass a sandbox is insane. Virtual machines are officially just suggestions now
