This is Bishop Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe of the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi.

On February 14th, 2024, Bishop Anagbe appeared before the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa, testifying about the genocidal persecution of Christians in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, particularly Benue State. He was invited again on March 12, 2025 during which the good Bishop, accompanied by reverend father Remigius Ihyula, detailed systematic massacres by ethnic Fulani jihadists against Christian farming communities, including kidnappings, church burnings, and land seizures.

According to the clergy, the number of Christians documented to have been killed by the Fulani Jihadists is over 1000 within months with over 160 Churches destroyed In the past decade and large swaths of land belonging to the Christian victims seized and currently occupied by the jihadists with no commensurate action from the govt. Bishop Anagbe told the US parliamentarians that the Nigerian govt is engaging in a “conspiracy of silence” aimed at enabling an “Islamic agenda” to Islamize the region.   
 
After Testimony, Bishop Anagbe and Father Ihyula received multiple death threats allegedly from Nigerian government sources and Islamist groups.

In April 2025, foreign embassies (including the U.S.) warned of potential arrest upon his return to Nigeria.      The Nigerian Foreign Ministry denied involvement
but promised investigations.

On May 24–26, 2025: Fulani Jihadists attacked Bishop Anagbe’s home village - Aondona - killing not less than 42 people (some sources placed the casualty figure at over 70) and displacing hundreds. This was described by many as reprisal for his testimony at the US Congress
      
On June 1–13, 2025, further coordinated attacks by ethnic Fulani Jihadists in Gwer West and Apa counties including Yelwata (near Makurdi) left over 300 men, women and children butchered with most of the victims burnt alive. This was even as the communities alerted the security agencies of the impending attacks weeks before it happened. Many of you would remember that the Bola Tinubu govt and her agents actually tried to play down the Yelwata massacre until activist Verydarkblackman went to the venue to bring the gory images of the victims to social media.

During the last Lent/Holy Week, over 92 Christians were massacred in the same Benue.

Please note that the govt headed by a muslim president and a muslim vice president has not prosecuted any known Fulani jihadist for any of these genocidal attacks. Most shocking is the fact that after similar attacks in Jos which left over 271 Christians dead, the leader of the Fulani jihadists called a Press Conference where he was shown in a video shared by Tvcnewsng, a television station owned by @officialABAT, giving conditions that must be met before they stop killing innocent people. One of the conditions he gave was the removal of a senior military commander in charge of keeping peace in Plateau. (I will share the video in the comment section ) As I type, that particular commander is no longer in his position. Your govt yielded to the demand of the jihadist.

I challenge anyone to fact-check everything I have written here.

THERE IS CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE GOING ON IN NIGERIA and the govt is complicit. The whataboutism of some Muslims being affected does not vitiate this fact because even those muslim victims were killed by fellow Muslims and there is no record of a any Muslim community being targeted the way it has been happening in southern kaduna, Benue and other parts of the Middle Belt

It is a crying shame that Nigerian authorities decided to charge poor, homeless, malnourished and out-of-school children to court for “participating in #EndBadGovernance protest”. This is the mirror of a society whose soul is lost.

Obviously malnourished, the children slumped on Friday morning in open court since the Nigerian authorities deliberately denied them of food after keeping them in unjust detention for months. How despicable?

The persecution of children by the Bola Tinubu administration is unacceptable and constitutes a gross violation of human rights.

There should not be an arraignment in the first place. These children should be enrolled to school and provided basic amenities. The criminals in power are those who should be behind bars; certainly not these innocent kids.

For everyone involved in this gory experience, let them be reminded that the verdict of history beckons!

The Nigerian justice system is worse than that of apartheid South Africa, even at this time. Justice Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja granted the most egregious bail conditions: N10 million naira with two sureties in like sum, one of whom must be a civil servant of grade level 15 with a verifiable address within Abuja. One must be the parent of the children.
Technically, these #Endbadgovernance76 minors are going to rot in jail because there is no way they could individually meet these inhuman bail conditions.

Goodluck Jonathan was the last president that took the blame as a commander in chief. Those that came after him blamed their predecessors.

GEJ was up against odds he couldn’t possibly surmount, even though he tried.

Nigeria was one of the fastest growing economies before the APC struck.

The Democrats are very crafty & have no plans for Africans. They always seem to support the most inept, dictatorial & corrupt African puppets. Obama's Foreign Policy was a scourge to the entire African continent. But many don't see it (because he cocooned himself with a conceited public facade & spectacle).

He created this whole cool guy persona for himself. He can fool many, but not Nefertiti. He aided Nigerians in their 2015 Wankfest. Millions wanted CHANGE, & they got it.

Nigerians thought they found elixir; the fifth element, the quintessence of life. People thought they found the solution to Nigeria's woes. Chibok & BBOG was the result.

He installed Buhari using the instruments of Psych-Op or elaborate brainwashing.

The 'victims' of that Operation are ignorant till this day. They thought it was their individual brilliance & loud voices that brought about the CHANGE; but something more clandestine was happening behind the scenes.

Someone was pressing the right button, directing the whole 'Zombie Fest.'

CHANGE came quite alright, but in the opposite direction. Many question their their tomfoolery till this day. Professors, the civil societies, the intelligentsia, & those that should have been wiser, fell for a well-oiled local propaganda that took on an international dimension.

According to the English Lexicon, 'red meat' is something substantial, that can satisfy a basic need or appetite. Nigerians needed red meat, something to excite them; & they got it.

“Sai Baba!" Love Affair was born.

Quite early on, he destroyed Libya, & created the conflict in the Sahel. Wherever he went, he left a wave of destruction & carnage on a massive scale. He installed a man without a degree & pedigree. A man that wallowed in rampant obscurity since his ouster in 1985.

Then he did the strangest thing by ignoring Nigeria for 8 wholesome years. Obama never stepped foot in Nigeria. That is who he is. A snake in green grass, hiding in plain sight.

Back in Nigeria……….

Jonathan was accused of been the brain behind the rise of the Boko Haram. He was accused of reducing the population of the North, so he could win that election. Back then, Isa Pantami was the “crying Sheikh.” Jonathan saw hell.

Obama refused to sell arms to Nigeria. GEJ did the next best thing. He sort for arms from the black market, but it was too late.

By the time the army started the onslaught against the ragtag army, Jonathan’s fate was already sealed. And when the frenzy died down, Nigerians moved on, without knowing what went down behind the scenes.

GEJ then made that famous speech that no political watcher will forget. “My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian.” He conceded to preserve the peace & the precious unity the then Opposition wanted to destroy.

I won’t forget “the blood of baboons” in a hurry.

(Bring Back Our Girls Crusade) will remain my point of disagreement with Hadiza Bala Usman, Aisha Yesufu & Oby Ezekwesili. I & Aunty Oby blocked each till this day. Pulse NG & I are blocking each other as well. Pulse & many blogs ran a bunch of PR for the APC back then. I may appear naive sometimes, but I’m no fool. I choose my battles, & I chose them wisely.
