Powerful speech in Holyrood today by Reform UK’s Amanda Lindsay standing up for women and demanding real accountability.
While the SNP spent millions fighting women in court to defend their gender ideology, they’ve shown zero urgency holding Peter Murrell to account for embezzling party funds.
Enough. Scotland needs a full parliamentary inquiry.
Country before party. Women’s rights before ideology.
@wild_ted@WomenOScotland BBC harboured Jimmy Savile a prolific paedophile for years with institutional failures. We don’t label the whole BBC “tolerant of paedophilia.
@wild_ted@WomenOScotland There are plenty of misogynists in the BBC, yet we’re not tarring the whole organisation with that brush. Same logic applies here. The “misogynists in ranks” line is a lazy smear.

@WWWheesht They can’t defend the indefensible! The candidates dodged the womens hustings because their deranged self-ID ideology is indefensible. Forcing biological males into women’s prisons, sports, shelters and changing rooms isn’t “compassion” it’s the erasure of women’s rights & safety
@AnnJohn30914404@WomenOScotland@ZackPolanski Ann, you may not feel your rights are threatened, but many women are facing real violations: male rapists with intact genitalia self-IDing into female prisons sexually assaulting inmates (documented cases like Karen White). One woman’s personal experience doesn’t override risk.
@mireille_pouget@WRNScotland@reformparty_uk@ScottishLabour I’m not following “but it’s an issue coming from reform”? Labour have had every opportunity to raise these safeguarding concerns around social transition and ideological capture in education but they’ve deliberately chosen not to. Their silence isn’t oversight, it’s a choice.
@WomenOScotland@StephenFlynnSNP@StephenFlynnSNP As your constituent in Aberdeen, I’m concerned by reports & photos showing you walking out during Amanda Lindsay’s speech defending child safeguarding & biological reality. What’s your position?
@brexshitshmexit@NM12713716@WomenOScotland Correct, Phil-your position has zero connection to humanity. Wanting to castrate children who still believe in fairies is the actual inhumanity here. The rest of us are just trying to stop the grooming and the scalpels.
@brexshitshmexit@WomenOScotland Imagine your brain being so melted by gender ideology that a speech protecting kids makes you scream ‘fascists locking up wee kids for their skin colour’. The only children being harmed here are the ones your side wants to socially transition, puberty-block and castrate.
Amanda Lindsay,
(Reform MSP Shadow Minister for Women & Equalities) delivered a truly well-measured and factual speech in the Scottish Parliament today. She rightly acknowledged the common ground on supporting high-quality childcare and giving every child the best possible start, while courageously addressing the profound concerns so many parents and professionals have about the ideological capture of our education and childcare systems.
Social transition is not a neutral or kind act when applied to very young children who still believe in the Tooth Fairy. It’s deeply concerning that guidance promoting this was rolled out across Scotland.
This wasn’t rhetoric; it was a calm, evidence-led call to put child safeguarding, biological reality, and women’s rights first. Refreshing to hear such straight-talking common sense in Holyrood. Well done Amanda.
Peter Murrell has now admitted to stealing the best part of half a million pounds from the SNP.
Is it credible that his wife knew nothing of this? As Party leader, was she not curious?
And if the SNP can steal from themselves, what are they capable of doing to the country?
New Scottish Greens MSP Srivatsan Manivannan has decided the public must call him “Dr Q Manivannan.”
His real name is Srivatsan Manivannan. The “Q” is a deliberate rebrand from his Instagram @q.ueering - literally short for “queering.”
Not a nickname. Not an initial. It’s an ideological statement: “queering” language, identity, and reality itself. He’s built his entire public persona around this queer activist branding.
So when you see “Dr Q” in Holyrood, remember: it’s not a quirky abbreviation. It’s a political demand that everyone play along with his chosen “queering” identity.
Plain English still exists. Real names still matter!
Congratulations Amanda Lindsay! 🎉
A huge well done on your election as the Reform UK MSP for Central Scotland at #Holyrood2026!
A strong voice in Holyrood who will stand up for safeguarding women’s rights, single-sex spaces, and sex-based protections.
Wishing you every success as you get to work delivering real change for Scotland. 🏴🙌🏼
