As a reminder, today is a Yellow Day. This is one of the coldest days we’ve seen this winter season, and as people are waking up, we’re encouraging customers to conserve more energy on Monday, January 26, between 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Here are some tips to conserve energy:
🟡 Avoid using large appliances such as washers, dryers, and dishwashers.
🟡 Unplug appliances that are not in use.
🟡 Adjust your thermostat lower, if it’s safe to do so.
SAFETY REMINDERS:
⚠️ Before operating a portable generator, please use it properly by never using it in an enclosed space, making sure it is properly grounded, and placing it at least 25 feet from a home or building.
♨️ If you smell gas, leave the area immediately and call 210-353-HELP (4357) from a safe location.
️
🚫 Please do NOT go near a downed power line. Always treat it as LIVE and report it immediately by calling 210-353-HELP (4357).

Empowering the next generation! 💡 We recently hosted local students for #CareerDay, so they could learn about all the diverse roles and skillsets that we employ. Hopefully we inspired some future innovators to follow their passion and go for their dream job in energy!
