We can’t win them all, but we sure played our booties off! Out of controls happen but we control what we can control! Sometimes as coaches we wonder if we are doing it right and this weekend having my girls ask to pray before games is all my heart needed. Laying down the firm foundation for them to be leaders. As stated by my girls, “let us play for your glory by the gifts you have given us!” 💗💙

PLAYERS: Before you question your playing time, honestly evaluate how you're using your practice time. Make sure that you're bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a team-first mentality to practice. Build good habits in practice. Find ways to be valuable. Make your teammates better.
Athletes claim they want to be faster, stronger, less injury prone & simply "the best" but fail to:
❌Hydrate
❌Eat breakfast
❌Prioritize sleep
❌Eat a recovery meal
❌Pack snacks between class, training & work
However,☝️these same athletes never forget their📱.
⏰Priorities..
ATHLETES: Play with No Regrets!
Your athletic career goes fast. Make the most of it. Control what you can control. Make memories.
Follow these 7 Steps to Have an Athletic Career with No Regrets.
1: Accept Coaching
Be coachable. You can always get better. You always have room for improvement. Accept coaching. Every coach teaches you something. Sometimes it will be good. Sometimes it may not be good. But, accept coaching and learn, grow, and live regret-free.
2: Pass the MIRROR Test
Can you look at the “Man/Women” in the Mirror and tell them you gave it your all? If you can do this each day you have passed the Mirror Test. Give your BEST Effort. Pass the Mirror Test and live with No Regrets!
3: Earn Confidence
Athletes EARN the right to be proud and confident. Put in the time. Commit. Be Proud. When you do this you create a belief that you are in control of the outcome.
4: No Skipped Workouts
Daily Habits Win. You can’t work out some of the time. Set a schedule. Have a plan. Then, go at it with persistence and relentless consistency.
5: Positive Attitude
You can always control your energy and attitude. Make sure it is positive energy. A good attitude combined with a growth mindset will ensure you leave your playing career with no regrets.
6: Show Gratitude
Many people are involved in your commitment and your athletic experience. Especially your parents. Be thankful for the time and resources they put in for you. Show gratitude. It will go a long way and will help you reach your full potential.
7: No Deposit - No Return!
Live with this mindset -> live with no regrets. You get out of everything that you put into it. Put time and energy into your sport and you will reap the rewards. Look back on your playing career and know you did all you could.
Live with No Regrets!
