@ElieNYC It's all vibes, now. These people are coddled and spoiled. Let Trump let them have it.
Citizens of the largest and wealthiest power don't want the responsibility. It's over.
@ResistMonsters I feared Biden in 2020 because he felt like a lazy party was at max flex. HE came out from retirement to win. They were already done with Harris. 2024 the D's spent Summer attacking their own nominee. They like being in opposition to Trump, God help the rest of us.
@reesetheone1 The civil rights movement and faultless coalition building earned Obama-Harris. By a thread. (08' was an outlier). It was fought for. Whites didn't offer. They don't like Latinos (I'm 5th gen from CA) & never will. We don't have the unity to demand what we need & they won't ask.
@RevealAnd@Maria_Hinojosa As many people as are needed will be indefinitely incarcerated. Prisons, agriculture, construction if this is handled competently are going to see a boon. If we're as lazy and cozy as we seem it will be disregarded or welcomed.
Vice President Kamala Harris lost, but Democrats won in WI, AZ, NC, MI & NV. Same party, same platform, same policies, same message. Until there is a serious discussion about how only the Black woman lost, we're not having an honest conversation about racism in America.
@AaronRegunberg They can't even vote for a nominee that offers aid to Americans to get a home or start a business or for child or elderly care. They are blind, self-interested & jealous. FDR vision of the US has been rejected however proposed by white voters since the civil rights movement. BS.
@reesetheone1 Not dead, maybe on hiatus. My mother considered herself part of the Rainbow coalition which became the Obama coalition. It will be back, but not for another 10-15 years. Some people have to learn the hard way first I guess.
i’m gonna take this chance to reiterate what i’ve said before. Gay people: your family, friends, and neighbors do not give a fuck about your rights. They think it’s annoying and kind of pushy when you bring it up. They miss when it wasn’t something they had to acknowledge.
@venusianhunty I've lived here all my life, my family has been in Cali since the 1930's. It's a brutal rat fucking beast of a state when it comes to money. And the more people have, the worse they get.
@reesetheone1 But if he feared this, why didn't he announce he wasn't running and open the 24' primary? At least the nominee would have had time to adjust/ adapt. Handing it off to the VP with 100 days to do it and Dem numbers shaky was crazy
