@DATa4UUo@astroqueenie@liveauthentic_ “Overly emotional?” Having emotions is not a bad thing. It’s part of being human. But thinking emotions are a bad thing - a lesson men learn from the patriarchy - so then repressing them means we never learn to effectively or healthily manage our own emotions. And we lash out.
@chickentender55@issawrapbyari@alluringmeelahh If something completely harmless brings someone happiness or sanity even, why try to take that from them? Let people be. What’s the point?
@TravelinHearts@abigaildisney Why do y’all love to pretend people are oppressing you when they aren’t. Piers Morgan expressed a (shitty) opinion. Abigail Disney responded with her own opinion. And now you’ve shared an opinion of your own. Seems like everyone’s “allowed” to have an opinion.
@niigeeduzit@pegminimoni@TheyHateTokyo@jiggyjayy2 Holding the views of a “loose woman”?? By watching a video of a child dance and my mind not going to a sexual place... Well I’m a loose woman, then. Fix your values.
@TVPartyPlanner Okay, but like, as a former kid who watched sailor moon, those characters made me feel extraordinarily horney (for some reason) and I feel like most senators may be way pervvvier than I was at 9, so this makes me concerned for sailor Uranus and Neptune cause 💚💛💞
@piersmorgan You're allowed to say what you want and people are allowed to respond, even if it means disagreeing with you. That's how freedom of speech works. No one is silencing you, only shaming you.
@thegaryblack@aje1983@chrisswartout@karaswisher I test my beliefs with one metric: if I were them, would it seem fair? Usually, prejudices are more fear than fair. Who I am has largely been a matter of chance. Judging people based on factors they can’t control never holds up to any level of scrutiny.
@csydelko Jeff Bezos isn’t problematic because he’s rich. If Chrissy Teigan paid and treated her employees with the same lack of care as Jeff Bezos, that would be a good reason to call her out. But being mad because someone is rich? You don’t the irrationality in that? Sounds personal...
@uhlert14 @jailthebozo @hadarachconsult@BeschlossDC People have the right to protest in a democracy, to disagree and speak up for what we believe in. Some of the protests over the summer did get violent, but to be fair, black communities have been unfairly targeted and abused for CENTURIES. And still, 90% were peaceful.
@DonaldJTrumpJr If you are directly encouraging people to be violent and destructive, then yes, probably a good idea to take away the megaphone. It is in all our best interests that what happened on the 6th doesn't happen again. You don't see that?
@realDonaldTrump Too little, too late. You had countless opportunities to condemn this kind of violence and you always sided with them because you thought they could give you what you wanted: more power. This is what happens when a country doesn't have a leader. You are a disgrace.
@DanteHarker@lillindz09 Yeah... pretty sure protesting a virus isn't a "real" thing you can do. Doing your part to prevent its spread is. But we're still in this shitty situation because of all the people bitching and moaning about it instead.
@sallyeastman1@TheEvilDrSteve@RepPaulMitchell No, actually, you don’t, Sally. It’s no wonder your country is in such dire straits if half the population can’t distinguish what they know from what they think or would like to think.
@LubienJessica@TKatt187@mikeburnz1@montaga@GOP@realDonaldTrump We’ve known for months now that COVID has a much higher death rate than the flu and we’re just now starting to see the long-term effects the impact the virus has on survivors. Yes, I will do whatever I can to avoid death and/or months of extreme fatigue, memory loss, dizziness
@FlyingDacian @MrErikJackson@1bigbeatlesfan@NBCNews Yeah, imagine if he was accused of sleeping with a porn star days after his son was born or if he was caught on tape talking about how he’s entitled to grabbing pussies, or if he repeatedly pardoned his criminal friends, but yeah sipping water.. huge scandal for him
