All Students Union, Lamka organised a mass rally today against the communal and ethnic cleansing movement targeted on the Kuki-Zo community in Manipur at Lamka (formerly known as Churachandpur).

Due to the biased and anti-tribal form governance against the Kuki_Zo community by the Biren Singh led BJP govt., 300+ churches, 15,000+ houses and 250+ villages of the minority Zo-Kuki tribal's destroyed by the Meitei radical groups under the spearhead of #Arambai_Tenggol and #Meitei_Leepun, heavily backed by Meitei Terrorist arms groups. And, so far, 100+ kuki-zo civilians have been killed in this Ethnic Cleansing #POGRAM by the Meitei.

We urge the world organisation to step in as both the State (Manipur) and Centre Govt. (Bharatiya Janata Party) either failed or intentionally allowed this ethnic cleansing of the kuki-zo tribals #POGRAM to continue undisturbed, and brought forth peace and justice.

When the Meitei #MeiraPaibis declared their infamous 3rd NUPI LAL ( Women’s War) on 30rd May 2023. What they meant by their objective i.e to safeguard Manipur, now seems to mean to shelter and safeguard the proscribed #MeiteiMilitants from #IndianArmy @Spearcorps . How can there be peace in Manipur when the womenfolk keep sheltering outlawed groups whose main objective is Separation from the Indian Union Territory? This issue is no longer limited to the Kuki-zo and Meitei community. It has become a concern and matter of threat to internal as well as National security. Urgent and immediate action must be taken towards such womenfolk who have been obstructing the peace process in the region.

There’s no way #IndianArmy will use force against womenfolk as it goes against their ethics. Now what’s the solution to prevent such further obstruction of duties? Can’t the Mahila Battalion of the central paramilitary forces come in to handle the issue ? Until Women forces handle Women, Call for Peace in Manipur will remain a distant delusion. Calling for peace on one hand in the National Capital in-front of media houses and at the same time obstructing the very Central forces responsible to restore peace and normalcy in the state is not exactly the behaviour we would be expecting from Peace loving mothers or #Peacemakers
