@TeeplesCY Interesting that diversities of gifts are magnified through conformant obedience to commandment. Diversity might be what keeps things interesting for an eternally progressing network of finite participants.
@_sky_sorensen_@Deseret@BrighamTomco nice work, sky. i see benefit to the pride month goal of celebrating the inherent dignity of all marginalized people, hence the rainbow and its infinite diversity. but i also see the downsides of what you're saying about removing "sexual norms" in public.
the debate is so toxic.
We often read scripture backward.
We know Hannah receives a son.
We know Ruth finds Boaz.
We know Naomi’s story doesn’t end in bitterness.
Hannah, Ruth, and Naomi had to live the story without knowing the ending.
That’s what makes their faith interesting.
@RedHotFuzz@ThoughtfulSaint yes, bigotry is an especially pernicious evil, when people hide behind their obsession with other commandments. there is no peace with it.
@Robotbeat The problems with it being "too good" are solved if we pipe the rewards back to the people whose data is being scraped, instead of the engineers who run the utility.
@nicoraytruth Those strands do not define separate classes of believers. They define separate classes of doctrine. The fundamentals of Christ and His atonement are Correlated and form a proper center for anything else that bubbles out of the Restoration.
But no one is fully one or the other.
