So rather than doing the equivalent of spending 100m on Garnacho/Gittens to "improve" Sancho, get a cheap player who gives you 70-80% and figure out what you have w Lavia/Barco etc; then enter the market.

@d_ftbl Maresca did simplify Sanchez's buildup considerably.

Sanchez in start of Maresca & Rosenior was an example of them trying short buildup. Then as time went, he asked Sanchez to either safe pass, or do a longer ground pass to Joao Pedro etc to pass back - if oppo went man-to-man

@Statford_Bridge Similar to Cucu - Enzo's been run ragged to the ground by us for the past 4 years.

It shows in his extra muscle but lack of quick-feet dribbling we saw in 22/23 as well. After a big WC, imo there's a risk he physically does an Alexis Sanchez so prefer a sale this or next yr max.

Even a 5-4-1 shouldn't be conceding that much space outside the box if you're proactively defending. Mexico you could understand as it was 10 men, but here?

@MobyChe Penders GK. Reece/Gusto/Hato/Josh can play FB, and just you can pair Josh/Hato w Colwill and 1-2 CBs.

In MF would have to replace Enzo - but unless you're getting Joao Neves etc, but I'd say you have as much a chance of getting an upgrade as u have in hoping Andrey/Barco step up

65 points isn't a big mark for this team w/ no rest and Europe. Unless you're getting ceiling raisers like Konate or Tchouameni or Alvarez or Hall etc, which it very much appears we won't, then I'd stick and see what you can make of this lot.
