Nowadays, I’m okay with whatever is happening. I’ve stopped complaining, stopped forcing outcomes, and stopped expecting life to move according to my plans. Whatever comes, comes. Whatever leaves, leaves. I adjust, I learn, and I keep moving. There’s a strange peace in no longer fighting everything you cannot control.
Life goes on, bro with or without friends, with or without love, with or without the people you thought would always be there. As a man, there will be seasons where it’s just you, your thoughts, your responsibilities, and the decisions you have to make alone. Learn how to stand by yourself without falling apart. Please take care of yourself. You still have a life to live.
The goal of many Nigerian business people is to buy cars, houses and own the lifestyle of Instagram celebrities. That is what increases the libido of their greed to always want 500% profit. They will create a scapegoat of "Dollar rate. Fuel price". Even those using CNG for daily commute charge the same rate with those using fuel. The gains of CNG is lost to the general populace but profitable to the greedy operator who wants to buy the car Burna Boy uses.
It is a value system problem.
Those who country our import system just want to build wealth to show off, it is not to create jobs and fix societal problems. They just want to display opulence to intimidate their next neighbor and village people. Hence, they'll do anything beyond wickedness to achieve that premium. From little effort, they want bountiful harvest because we live in a country where law does not work and regulation is weak.
If the Chinese takes over our businesses and makes life easy for the 210m out of the 214m, what happens is extension of the lives of the 210m to try again. The greed of the 4m and their desires should not tower above the lives of the over 200m. If we cannot fix our value system, let us atleast fix life extension.
Do not forget, market forces only work in countries with fair laws and strong regulations.
Man to man: some battles are won by refusing to fight them. No final word, no long explanation, no desperate need to be understood. You leave, breathe, keep moving, and let reality introduce itself later. Time has a way of explaining what your words never could.
I say the things most people would rather keep quiet about. That’s why the sensitive posts get bookmarked more than they get reposted people feel it, they just don’t always want to be seen agreeing with it. I’d rather be the man who woke you up angry than the one who let you sleep peacefully into ruin.
Never let a woman redesign you into the man she thinks she wants. Grow, improve, evolve, but never abandon your identity just to keep her happy. The moment you become her project, you start losing yourself, and eventually she may lose attraction to the man constantly bending for approval. Love should sharpen you, not erase you. Compromise where necessary, but never betray who you are just to be chosen.
A poor Man doesn't't deserve an erection.
But when he is rich society begins to dictate to him how to use the erection his financial Status has afforded him. 😁
How did you think prices of House Rent increased so sharply in Nigeria?
It is majorly about the greed of our countrymen. Jobless people who created jobs for themselves through 'Agency" work, due to the poor regulation of that sector, which is supposed to be handled by only trained and registered Valuers, approached landlords to give them free hands to bring in tenants. They approached fraudsters who were ready to pay any amount, usually inexperienced young boys with money they never worked legitimately, with time, for, to rent those houses. They put it higher than the actual value of the rents based on facilities in the property and also used that mechanism to extort percentages of their agency fee. Since it looked attractive to the landlords, they let it stay. Landlords don't have access to Fraudsters, it is agents and some Lawyers who are approached that bring them in. When they inflate these rents and the fraudster goes broke, he leaves. They won't decrease and legitimate workers who are desperate because of housing deficit would have to cough out what they don't earn to pay rents.
There’s strength in saying, “Maybe I’m the bad guy,” and walking away quietly. No 47-paragraph explanation. No begging to be understood. No courtroom defense of your character. Just leave. Time has a funny way of exposing who was telling the truth, who was pretending, and who needed a villain to protect their own version of the story. TIME. Let it testify.
The part that stays with me is knowing you knew exactly how down I was for you and still chose to play with me. That wasn’t confusion. That was a decision. And once I see that clearly, I can never look at you the same.
Nothing stays with you like realizing nobody is coming. No rescue. No safety net. You came from nothing, had nobody to lean on, and at times felt like you were nothing. That kind of loneliness either breaks you or builds something in you that can’t be taught. Eventually, you stop waiting to be saved and become the person you were waiting for.
