Aliko Dangote may need to understand that Kenya is not a place where court orders are treated as routine African inconveniences whenever they interfere with a major investment.

These are courts that have previously nullified an entire presidential election and ordered the country back to the ballot, so a multibillion shilling refinery facing questions over disputed land will certainly not be treated as too important for judicial scrutiny.
