Big believer in the idea that only a handful of decisions determine your entire life. The rest is all just noise
The big decisions are generally:
1. who you marry
2. what career path you go down
3. saving and spending habits
4. how you take of your body and exercise
5. who you spend time with (friends)
If you get these 5 right, it’s really hard to go wrong in life
My favorite line from Atomic Habits has been living in my head rent-free:
“It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”
I'm increasingly convinced that the ultimate sign of growth is faster recovery. You still get upset. You still make mistakes. You still have bad days. But you return to center faster.
Apologize faster. Reset faster. Learn faster. Fast recovery compounds.
WFH is PEAK and we need to go back to that as a society. the concept of working at the office needs to be left in 2026.
- I wake up 10 minutes before work
- no 2 hour commute
- I finish my workday when I finish
- no 2 hour commute home
- I cook my own lunch
- get to spend more time with family and friends
- private bathroom
Where is the downside?

The warning messages before a call are headache. Nobody wants to hear them. The whole purpose of these messages is thrown out the window. Better not to play them. Just place the call. Emergencies are far more important than the stupidity of these messages.
Here's a trick if work is going *terribly*:
Find areas in your life where you can win.
A hobby, your fitness.... Anything.
Victories translate & bleed into other areas, just as the negative does.
Start stacking energy in your favor.
Everyone realised this after COVID. Before that, going to the office was the norm and rarely questioned. What changed so much that work from office is now a reason for people to reject or change jobs?
It’s so attractive when people apologise for responding late. or when they keep you in the loop so you don’t start overthinking. the skill of communication is very attractive. basic consideration these days, it stands out cause so many people just disappear and leave you guessing
