PRAYER FOR AN IMPOSSIBLE REQUEST
Almighty God,
You who split seas, raised the dead, and called light out of nothing,
I come to You with a request that humanly speaking is already dead.I ask for the impossible!
Not because I doubt Your power, but because I have run out of every other door. This thing before me is sealed, finished, laughed at, declared irreversible.
Men say it cannot be.
Time says it’s too late.
Logic says it’s absurd. But You are not bound by any of those courts.
So I stand here, small, bruised, probably foolish,
and I ask You to do what only You can do:
override reality as men know it,
break the decree that has already been written,
and give me this one thing I dare not even speak aloud to most people.
Not for my glory.
Not so I can say I was right.
Only because without this, a part of me or someone I love, will lose it.
Lord of the eleventh hour, God of the closed tomb,
King who answers before we call,
do it anyway.
Do the thing that cannot be done!
Show Yourself strong where every expert has already walked away.
I have every reason to trust You can.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
who turned “impossible” into His favorite word,
I ask.
I wait.
I trust.And I know You heard me.
Amen.
Father, Replace every fear with faith, every delay with progress, every weakness with strength, and every disappointment with a testimony.🙏
Happy Wednesday 😘😘

Elijah was a mighty prophet of God, but even he reached a place where the weight of everything became too much. In 1 Kings 19:4, he poured out his heart to the Lord and said, “I have had enough, Lord.” Exhausted, discouraged, and overwhelmed, he no longer wanted to keep going. God didn’t shame him for being tired or condemn him for a weak moment. He met him in his exhaustion, let him rest, provided what he needed, strengthened him, and reminded him that his story was not finished. Be real with God. You don’t have to pretend you’re strong when you’re hurting. Tell Him when you’re tired, disappointed, or when life feels too heavy to carry. God can handle the truth of your heart. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is admit, “Lord, I’m tired. I need You.” Just as He met Elijah in his lowest moment, trust that God can meet you there, restore your strength, and help you keep going.
The best way to honour someone who did a lot for you but regressed into someone you can no longer respect, is to remember the best version of them and be thankful for what they did for you. Even if they ultimately failed you, they gave you a great gift as proof of their love.
Today I was bored. I saw an ant in my kitchen and placed a few sugar cubes in front of it. She had some and went to call her friends, and I quickly hid the sugar cubes because I wanted them to think she was a liar.
God is very intentional. Nothing about your life is random. Not the delays, not the detours, not even the waiting. He knows exactly what He's doing. Please learn to trust him more this year.
