Since Jeffrey Epstein file is trending I want to share with you my 6 degrees of separation with Jeffrey and Mark Epstein.

Back in the early 1990’s I co-founded a trade magazine for the yellow taxi industry called Taxi Magazine. My family owned and operated a yellow taxi medallion and I drove it for over 10 years.

The publication was successful and we decided to lease office space in the trendy SoHo area of Manhattan. Our landlord was no other than Mark Epstein. Jeffrey’s younger brother.

Back then Mark lived on the top floor right above my office suite. I witnessed Mark ride around in a Triumph motorcycle and ran a silk screen business called Izmo Enterprises, a company associated with silkscreening and printing on the ground floor.
On the 4th floor there was an asain whore house brothel in operation. I recall Mark Epstein bringing young beautiful model type women back to his place. I dug into the deed history of this building and apparently Mark Epstein got possession of it with a deed transfer from a woman named Caroline Hess on the late 1980’s. The loan associated with the property was Greenpoint Bank and it was paid off a couple of years later.

There are many questions on how Mark Epstein acquired his multi million dollar real estate fortune under Dara Partners LPC and Ossa Properties.

At the center of the curious connection between Mark’s real estate company and his brother is a condominium building at 301 east 66st in Manhattan nyc. Mark owns the majority of the units in this 16 story 200 unit building when he purchased from Lex Wexler in the early 1990’s.

Mark has stated that his deceased brother never owned any shares in the condo building but for years Jeffrey allegedly housed friends, employees, and associates in apartments at the building, including models connected to Jeffrey’s MC2,the model agency.

I went back to my old office building to document this interesting connection last year.
Do you think Mark has some explaining to do in regards to his connections with Jeffrey estate and Les Wexler?
