people were eating olives. they bombed the trees. people found fish to eat. they bombed the boats. cut off their water supply. actively blocking any humanitarian aid from entering gaza. all of this while they’re constantly carpet bombing palestinians…
Never again will I ever ask “how did people let this happen?” when studying historic atrocities. I’m watching in real time, how people let bad things happen. I’ll never forget this, I’ll never forgive people’s passive and even gleeful participation in this.
A reminder: white phosphorus burns at nearly 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit – high enough to melt metal. It burns humans to the bone and is illegal to use in civilian areas.
This is the type of weapon Israel is using on a children's hospital in Gaza and it won't make headlines.
There is a Hadith that has stuck with me a lot this year, especially as time flows rapidly and as I get older:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There are two blessings that many people are deceived into losing: health and free time."
May Allah put barakah in our time and health.
