While there is a little bit of creative accounting with the Coast Guard and a few other measures, they are minor. The govt should be applauded for making Canada relevant in NATO once again and showing support for an important alliance. Bravo Zulu. 🇨🇦

We’re heartbroken to hear of the passing of Kirsty Duncan.
Kirsty was a passionate Member of Parliament and Minister, a champion for science, and deeply committed to serving others.
It's a tremendous loss, and our thoughts are with her loved ones at this time.
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Kirsty Duncan, a devoted public servant and a champion for the people of Etobicoke North.
She served our community with dedication and conviction. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones.
Kirsty Duncan was not only an incredible colleague, but a truly beautiful soul. For 17 years, we served together as Members of Parliament — from official opposition, to third party, to government. Today’s news is heartbreaking; my thoughts are with her friends and family.
Today, I join Canadians in mourning the passing of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan.
Kirsty’s life was defined by kindness and service. She was an educator and a scientist, who brought her wisdom and purpose to public service as a long-time Member of Parliament and Cabinet minister.
Her curiosity and generosity inspired Canadians across the country. My deepest condolences to Kirsty’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who learned from her work.

Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Jennie Carignan apologizes to all Canadian military members and veterans who experienced racism, discrimination and harassment. "Speaking personally, what I have learned has broken my heart," she said. "I acknowledge we failed you."
This is thick as mince in two ways:
1) You're the son of the King of Canada - cheer for the Canadian team; and
2) It's a better/cuter media story if you're off side with your wife
I'm not one to encourage passive aggressive infighting in the royal family, but William is one insta post in a Jays cap away from the ultimate troll job.
In an extraordinary display of public support, heads of state, heads of government, and foreign ministers from all over Europe and Canada are posting in support of Ukraine in response to the Oval Office meeting with Trump, Zelenskyy, and Vance.
Ahem, Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer. That was a very good question on Canada and Trump's threats to this country, and with all respect, you blew the answer and threw us under the bus. Not feeling all that Commonwealthy right now. #cdnpoli
Every year, LCBO sells nearly $1 billion worth of American wine, beer, spirits and seltzers. Not anymore.
Starting Tuesday, we’re removing American products from LCBO shelves. As the only wholesaler of alcohol in the province, LCBO will also remove American products from its catalogue so other Ontario-based restaurants and retailers can’t order or restock U.S. products.
There’s never been a better time to choose an amazing Ontario-made or Canadian-made product. As always, please drink responsibly.
General Dwight D. Eisenhower had the foresight to realize that Holocaust denial would occur.
Eisenhower said, “Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the road of history, some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”
