ICE is shooting into cars with kids and Trump has scheduled a live firing squad execution. Please vote IN these people that can hold our federal government accountable, and vote IN ALL OF THESE AMAZING CANDIDATES up and down the ballot who can benefit us in every way!

Tim O’Hare refused to support a resolution honoring Tarrant County Social Workers for their service to families in our diverse community.

Social workers are on the frontline of making sure our community members are safe and healthy.

I am running for County Judge because our residents deserve leadership that is committed to supporting all families.

Everyone who is RIGHTFULLY outraged about the Cornell 7, rape culture, and what is continuing to happen to Jane Doe, and Jane Does everywhere,

Everyone who is RIGHTFULLY speaking up and calling this out and demanding a change in culture,

remember to be this outraged when it comes to racists.

Just like we need men to hold each other accountable to change rape culture, we need white people to hold each other accountable when it comes to racist culture.

As so many better people before me have said,

It is not enough to not be racist.

You must be anti-racist. Actively.

Make this a space that is not comfortable for rapists or racists.

Or homophobes.

Or xenophobes.

Or people who think otherism and outcast culture are okay. All of it.

Actively.

Let's all do our part. All the time.

And if you think that's exhausting,

Try living it.

Let's do our part.

[Alisa Simmons @CommALSimmons]

They already cut 92 polling places. They're trying to make it harder to vote.

So let's make it impossible for them to stop us.

Here are the dates you need to know for this election 👇

@RogersForTexas This you??? You suck as much as Bo does. You perpetuated anti-Muslim bigotry, too. You just never wanted to be held accountable for your part.

[Mendi Tackett @mentack]

But, all the folks who think “This is it! This is the cycle all these Rs are going to find a conscience, do the right thing, save democracy, team with the Ds, and maybe vote for Ds”. When does it ever change?

Bill Cassidy: "I will vote for Mr. Blanche."

If TX Dems aren’t talking abt the re-criminalization of THC, they’re missing a huge connection point. Just like abortion, wealthy Republicans will keep using cannabis w/out consequence. This law targets ppl w/out privilege. Dems, seize the issue. Don’t leave votes on the table.

[Alisa Simmons @CommALSimmons]

🚨 The results are in. A new Change Research poll shows me in a virtual tie with Tim O’Hare.

🔴 We begin the race in a dead heat: 44% to 43%.
🟡 After voters learn about both candidates, my lead increases to 49% vs 44%.
🟡 Among voters who say they are certain to vote, I’m leading 53% to 42%.
🟢 And once those motivated voters have read our bios, I lead O’Hare 56% to 41%.

That’s what Tarrant County voters say when they hear the truth about this race.

O’Hare’s had 4 years. He closed polling places, silenced residents, and broke the budget. Voters know it.

Change is coming. And I’m going to be the one to deliver it.

Taxpayer dollars are funding a task force that won't even show up to explain itself.

Back in 2023, Tim O'Hare, the DA, and the Sheriff stood in front of every camera they could find to announce the Tarrant County Election Integrity Task Force. Big smiles. Big promises. They were all in.

Three and a half years later? Those same guys can't be bothered to show up at Commissioner's Court to brief the court on what that task force has actually done.

I asked for that briefing at Tuesday's Commissioners Court meeting. They didn't come. And when I pressed Tim O'Hare directly, he couldn't answer my questions either.

Here's what we do know: In 2024, the task force received 82 complaints of alleged voter fraud and filed ZERO charges over 15 months. There is no verified widespread voter fraud in Tarrant County. There never was.

*Taxpayers should not be expected to bear the expenses of activities that primarily benefit an elected official’s public profile with their base.*

The task force still has no public-facing dashboard. You can't see the data. Commissioners can't either.

I said this was a waste when they created it. I'm saying it again now: How much money has been wasted?

You deserve the answers Tim O’Hare is scared to give you. That's why I'm running for Tarrant County Judge.

Follow me for updates and share this post so your neighbors know what's happening with their tax dollars.

What a truly lovely evening with the @Tarrantyoungdem!! We heard keynote addresses from our next top Democrats in the county, Commissioner Simmons and Tiffany Burks. We heard from the DNC Chair of the Women's Caucus (visiting from Oklahoma!), Alicia Andrews. We heard from a huge number of candidates including statewide judicial nominee, Holly Taylor. And we got to do it all while enjoying each other's company and fundraising for this incredible organization.

To top it off, the young Dems surprised me with a special award 🥹🥹🥹🥹 which is just such an honor. Thank you, friends ❤️❤️

We have the best county and the best people in it. Our Young Dems are changing the culture of this county and we are SO lucky that they are. Please give them money.

They turn your money into votes with incredible efficiency and dedication 👉 https://t.co/TU4Fr2Sn5N

Dear scientists and anyone who uses scientific advancements to live (hint that's everyone),

Proposed new US funding rules: 'We can cancel any grant at any time. Peer review now optional, political staff would screen grants for forbidden topics.'

Science as we knew it is over in this country. Only science which pleases Dear Leader is allowed.

This is not hyperbole.

If you live in Tarrant County, you’ve been paying a bill that was never sent to your mailbox.

Here’s a receipt of how much the “Tim Tax” has cost us as taxpayers.

County Judge Tim O’Hare loves to talk about “fiscal responsibility” and “cutting waste.” But when you add up what his political stunts (and incompetence) have cost us, the numbers tell a different story.

Every. Single. One. Of these expenses was avoidable. You didn’t vote for any of this, but you’re paying for it anyway.

Here’s the thing about receipts: when you get charged for something you didn’t order, you ask for your money back.

And the next best thing to a refund is making sure you don’t get charged again.

So if you’re tired of footing the bill for Tim’s incompetence, help us send him packing.
Vote Alisa Simmons for Tarrant County Judge.

Primary runoffs in Texas are done. We know who is on the ballot in November. Understanding history tells us who shares our values and who doesn’t (even if they claimed the same party decades ago).
LBJ to Trump to November.
