@chosenboyo7788@DanielVavra It doesn't matter. Any sane developer shouldn't expose all the sliders and their full range to users. And DLSS 5's runs surprisingly good if it is applied before upscaling. On my 5080 the FPS loss is very small if apply DLSS5 before upscaling to 4k (DLSS performance)
@dark1x@GameOrDie007@digitalfoundry I've tweaked it for one scene and found most values at ~60% would make it more like an upgrade than AI slop. However, the difference becomes much more subtle and for an effect that costs 40+% of my fps I am not sure if it is worth it on demanding titles.
@QuiteShallow Inconsistencies are inevitable given there's no design documents according to someone leading the development. It's just a game developed by hundreds of mod authors who happen to work in the same company.
@Oso_Senpai @leggomys @lNTERNETlNVADER It's just the artist's choice. Making things look soft doesn't make them not erotic. Human brain interprets softness by deformations regardless if it's fictional or not. Painting skills are all about tricking viewers to believe things have certain properties.
@Oso_Senpai @leggomys @lNTERNETlNVADER It's not silly. Gravity implies the softness for things you can't touch. If the artist wants the breasts to be hard as rock then sure they shouldn't have the shape affected by gravity.
@Critical_Scribe Starfield is already equal or better than Skyrim in every aspect except the lore. I would be more surprised if ES6 is more boring than vanilla Skyrim.
@MirelRanete@420eur@VideoCardz It's about how WD sells their drives. To put it simple, SMR drives are usable but worse than CMR drives, especially not good for NAS use. WD Red are labelled as NAS drives and yet WD decided to use SMR drives to save some cost and this eventually got WD sued a few years ago.
@beyond_fps@Manic27G My Windows 10 laptop from 2014 with 4760HQ, DDR 3 MSATA SSD opens file explorer faster than my desktop with 13600k, DDR 5, PCIE Gen 4 SSD running Windows 11. I guess being able to see how the new opening animations stutter is a improvement for you.
@HardwareUnboxed @saraliciousz_x There are more people who don't even have a gaming PC, and the Steam Machine makes them catch up the majority if it is reasonably priced.
@JamesResEvil@PeterP_1985 Expedition 33 is made by a rather small team with no big names behind them, and they managed to make UE5 run well with great visuals. Blaming the engine is only giving those big companies excuses for delivering bad products.
@ghost_motley And longevity is mostly pointless for most gamers especially for those who are buying mid-range CPUs. Most won't upgrade their CPUs in the next 4 or 5 years and all heavier games are going to run on the much weaker console CPUs anyway.
