The game, the Spanish players deserve more, no players should have to endure this. It’s unacceptable, and also laughable that these men still are allowed so much power. @Jennihermoso we are all with you ❤️

World Cup winning squad will be joined by former players of the Spanish NT to release a joint statement "for everything that we've had to suffer and live. We're going all in."

[Christen Press @ChristenPress]

Women should not have to win to have our voices heard.

[emma mitchell @emsmitch3]

We, as players of SWNT, stand with you @JenniHermoso and all of the Spanish National Team players.

[Fridolina Rolfö @FridolinaRolfo]

No-one should ever have to fight in their place of work for respect, to feel safe or for their basic human rights.

Things have to change.

I stand with @Jennihermoso and the Spanish team ✊

[Barça Femení @BarcaFem]

They deserve the world!

Thank you so much and massive respect @MapiLeon16 @claudiaapinaa @Patri8Guijarro 💙❤️

[Hedvig Lindahl @hedvig_lindahl]

This is what the Spanish women's was used to. Imagine how much shit they had to take over the years. Enough is enough! @VeroBoquete spoke up then, 15 more regarding today's toxic leadership. When will it stop?

[Merel van Dongen @merelvd]

Like the great great Infantino once said: Women pick the right fights! Oooohh how the Spanish women are picking this fight. Proud to see how women, men, media and politics in Spain finally unite to change something that hasn’t been right for years. Se acabó. It’s time for justice

[Alex Ibaceta @alexibaceta23]

🚨 All 23 players of Spain’s World Cup squad have signed this statement and have resigned from the national team.

The statement is also signed by 58 current and past players.

[Ingrid Syrstad Engen @ingrid_engen]

Se acabó. I’m with you Jenni, and with all of my teammates raising their voices for many months.

[Mia Eriksson @mia_eriksson]

Let me help you with this UEFA

[Lisa Evans @LisaEvans_17]

We, as players of SWNT, stand with you @JenniHermoso and all of the Spanish National Team players.

At this point FIFA has to step in because Spanish football is being held hostage & a women's World Cup is being used by a sexual assault perpetrator & his abusive coach mate to justify keeping their jobs.
This is even worse than what was feared a Spain win would bring from RFEF.

[Alex Morgan @alexmorgan13]

I'm disgusted by the public actions of Luis Rubiales. I stand by @Jennihermoso and the Spanish players. Winning a World Cup should be one of the best moments in these players' lives but instead it's overshadowed by assault, misogyny, and failures by the Spanish federation.

[Alexia Putellas @alexiaputellas]

Esto es inaceptable. Se acabó. Contigo compañera @Jennihermoso

[Since 71 @Since71Blog]

We've just seen a man caught live on TV at the biggest match on Earth committing sexual assault blame the victim, refuse to resign & then get a standing ovation from the most powerful people in Spanish football.
This is a dark, dark day for the women's game. For all of football.
