There is a reason why clothes for Holi are different from Diwali. There is a reason why people dress differently for a wedding than halloween. Culture, traditions and events have relevant clothing, sweets, food and they are defined by what is appropriate according to them and what's not.

Stop justifying absolutely ridiculous dressing meant only to grab eyeballs(and you're getting paid for it) with idea of people telling women what to wear.

You wear all this in all your movies because you hardly know how to act and no one gives a damn because they know this is the only way you survive in the business.

But please spare our festivals

It is crazy that while the brother who seems younger to you in the ad knows well what right dressing for occasion for rakshabandhan is, but you don't.

The ad maker capitalized on sexualizing you by making you wear this and you did it happily for the fee but now giving sermons to those who are only expressing their opinion about your dress.

Who defines dress codes? Bikini in classrooms? Flip Flop, T Shirts and Shorts in Parliament, night suit at airport, Suit in swimming pool. Some times when heart it sold for money then best is to keep shut and not defend. A screen of victimhood behind woman liberty may not be sustainable.

Kriti can wear whatever she wants in her private life. Nobody cares.

But Raksha Bandhan is a festival of brothers and sisters. The outfit shown in this ad clearly did not go down well with many people. That criticism is valid.

The problem today is that politicians, celebrities and powerful people have started thinking they are above public opinion.

Instead of accepting criticism, they immediately start defending themselves.

We saw the same thing with Adipurush. The makers kept defending the film despite massive criticism. Later, Manoj Muntashir admitted that defending the Adipurush film was a mistake.

If people don't like something, accept it. Apologise, remove the ad and move on.

But no, ego comes first.

And sooner or later, this arrogance will break.
