#BJP IT सेल के तीनों पदाधिकारी 1 नवंबर 2023 की रात दारू पीकर काशी का प्रसिद्ध "नक्कटैया" मेला देखने गए थे। वहां से लौटते वक्त उन्होंने छात्रा से दरिंदगी की। अगले दिन स्टूडेंट्स का प्रोटेस्ट शुरू होने पर वे डरकर MP भाग गए। वहां इलेक्शन में BJP का कैंपेन करने लगे। चुनाव से ठीक पहले वापस लौटे। तब तक वे आश्वस्त हो चुके थे कि अब अरेस्टिंग नहीं होगी। पुलिस अपनी इन्वेस्टिगेशन का सारा काम इस घटना के तीसरे दिन पूरा कर चुकी थी, लेकिन इंतजार था "हुक्म" मिलने का, जो 60 दिन बाद मिला।
