I was literally unconscious and unable to say no??? Bro, important context maybe??
It took years and a court case until I was able to see what I had apparently "reported" to police, and by then the DA had closed the criminal case. I was furious, because up until that point, the officer presented as nice and understanding.
This continues to be the experience of other victims I work with as an advocate now, even years later. Never trust the word of the justice system!
