Because I made it
Because it’s a tprs focused app
Because it’s made revising vocab in context 10x better paired with italki conversation lessons

For absolute beginners in Japanese looking to learn JP through comprehensible input, this small channel has absolute beginner videos completely in JP (including subtitles in JP).
Wish there had been something like this for Swahili!

@studywithmiejie What is your metric for self assessment ? I’m such a nerd for this because I am an immersion CI learner and my prong read is felt through vibes in conversation
@ravcnei I used and use duolingo for a long time. Its a better use then your time, good if you have a lot going on, but it wont get you fluent
Honestly the biggest change was hiring a italki teacher just to talk and using my own app to practice and learn new words - its called taletutor
@HongSongShu29 Well grammar in my opinion comes with time. Learning it before you can speak any is alittle silly. It’s like learning the fundamentals of coding before you can hello world.
