Thank you to everybody for a very effective day of canvassing & leafleting in Clifton & Clifton Down. A special thank you to @Wera_Hobhouse coming over from Bath & Georgina for hosting all of us.
Hey @thangammp ๐ Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak have been fined for partying while people died of Covid.
They must recall Parliament and face a vote of no confidence. #HeyMP@BestForBritain https://t.co/AMWZKUrb52
We must not be silent in the face of this injustice. Sign @euromove's petition calling on the UK government to uphold citizens' rights after #Brexit

Great discussion last night with members from across liberal, labour and green spectrum hosted by @CompassOffice I am not a tribalist and recognise we have much in common. As the West's mayor I would work with everyone to deliver a liberal, green and socially just region.
A damning account of Bristol's Mayor Rees's 5 years in office and of the way the city mayoral system has stripped elected councillors of power, empowering instead unelected favourites. A long read but worth the time.
Day one in the job for the new West of England Regional Mayor will be 5 weeks today. If it's me there'll be an immediate start on plans to take control of our bus network. New routes, controlled fares and clean fuel buses will follow.
Watched numerous videos of violence in Bristol last night and on previous days. All liberals should be concerned both about the Police and Courts etc Bill and about the heavy handed tactics being used now by the police. It's absolutely right to protest this awful new draft law
To recover from the twin shocks of Brexit and Covid I have a bold and green revival plan for the West of England, setting up a Centre for Green Technological Excellence and giving people the skills needed for the green jobs of the future.
Lib Dem budget amendment would put an extra ยฃ19m into education, play, parks, pools and safe cycling in Bristol. A budget amendment designed around our children. Funded by cutting the mayorโs ability to waste more of our money.
Hardly anything has changed on West of England railways in the last 25 years. I've discussed my desire for change with Network Rail and GWR. If I become Regional Mayor there will be a big push to complete plans for new stations, line reopenings and extra services.
