Great discussion last night with members from across liberal, labour and green spectrum hosted by @CompassOffice I am not a tribalist and recognise we have much in common. As the West's mayor I would work with everyone to deliver a liberal, green and socially just region.

Watched numerous videos of violence in Bristol last night and on previous days. All liberals should be concerned both about the Police and Courts etc Bill and about the heavy handed tactics being used now by the police. It's absolutely right to protest this awful new draft law

To recover from the twin shocks of Brexit and Covid I have a bold and green revival plan for the West of England, setting up a Centre for Green Technological Excellence and giving people the skills needed for the green jobs of the future.

Hardly anything has changed on West of England railways in the last 25 years. I've discussed my desire for change with Network Rail and GWR. If I become Regional Mayor there will be a big push to complete plans for new stations, line reopenings and extra services.
