Today, a decision to increase ERC support for researchers moving to Europe was adopted.
On top of normal grants, the ERC offers 'start-up' funding to help PIs establish laboratories/research teams in Europe.
This extra is now x2 (up to €2 million!) https://t.co/ikGj3DoFAO
Excited to see that the Spanish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (@SEBBM_es) has chosen our work, recently published in Science Advances, as the Paper of the Month! Thank you so much!🧫✨

It’s finally here! I’m excited to share my thesis work with the scientific community. By engineering viscoelastic protein biomaterials, we offer new insights into cell mechanobiology. Available now on @ScienceAdvances
Thanks to our collaborators for their unwavering support!
🎉🎉
Very happy that our paper “Cell response to extracellular matrix viscous energy dissipation outweighs high-rigidity sensing” is out @scienceadvances

We are hiring PhD students to work on synthetic bottom-up reconstitutions in bacterial cell biology, with the focus on peptidoglycan/cytoskeleton cross-talk and role of bacterial glycans in cell-cell communication. Interested? Don´t hesitate to DM me!
Finally out in @NatureCancer: Deconvoluting at single cell resolution how endothelial cells drive tumor cell fate decisions in the metastatic niche. Congratulations to Moritz Jakab (@moviqu), Ki Hong Lee, and all contributors to this exciting landmark work https://t.co/PopI0iEUHR

In collaboration with Prof. Dai Qionghai & Wu Jiamin's group @Tsinghua_Uni, reporting in @CellCellPress the new 2-photon synthetic aperture microscopy that enables us to watch the entire process of germinal center formation. https://t.co/ZUDeUf2k1P
Every young person out there should watch this video before any match, competition, game, etc. Sport will always give you something. Always. Learning curve. And these words can equally be applied to science. Never a failure, always a lesson
Giannis Antetokounmpo podía hablar en muchos idiomas y está madrugada eligió hablar verdades.
1 minito 48 segundos que son una maravilla y todo este tras haber quedado eliminado con los nervios a flor de piel.
Dame siempre al the greek freak.
Can we predict cellular forces just from microscopy ?
We are happy to release a robust method by @SachaIchbiah to create 3D atlases of relative cell mechanics in embryos or tissues from fluorescent images of cell outlines:
