@kimmonismus the problem is that Fable 5 is going away on July 7th too and no normal user will be able to pay API prices, even at companies.
You could end up paying like $100 per day even if you're careful
Have seen some questions about the updated classifiers and wanted to clarify.
As with the original classifiers, a small fraction of routine coding and debugging tasks will be flagged and fall back to Opus.
We're excited for guys to get access back tomorrow.
@maxedapps aber anthropic hat doch mittlerweile klargestellt, dass "some routine coding tasks" gemeint war (statt "some routine tasks like coding"), und man immernoch coden kann
@KrakowiakK@antirez i'm pretty sure there's a sizable exodus going on right now. opus is better than glm 5.2, but not by a large margin. prior to release of glm 5.2, it was commonly thought for open source to be "6-9 months behind SOTA"
turns out its more like 2-3 months
@chribjel@MichaelArnaldi foreign ones will. what then? restrict access to those? VPNs. restrict those? fat chance
moreover the rest of the world will, near term, just keep using any model they want. the US needs to stay competitive, so can't exactly shut themselves out like that
