for today's issue of @the_dailycampus, i wrote an article on student reactions to receiving the vaccine, except the word 'vaccine' somehow got cut off the end of the headline in the design process. i present this morning's top headline:
Hey #SATX! @SASOLIDWASTE doesn’t do a great job of updating its Twitter account, but posted on Facebook that brown garbage carts will be picked up TODAY (2/19) through SUNDAY (2/21), no matter what your usual day is ... the trucks are rolling again! https://t.co/BpoujwdPce

"I'm here live. I'm not a cat."
A lawyer logged into the 394th Judicial District with a cat filter on and couldn't turn it off.

On January 6, armed Trumpist militias will be rallying in DC, at Trump's orders. It's highly likely that they'll try to storm the Capitol after it certifies Joe Biden's win. I don't think this has sunk in yet.
Republican Sen. Mitt Romney addressed his colleagues about today's siege of the U.S. Capitol, saying it was the result of "a selfish man’s injured pride."
"The best way we can show respect for the voters who are upset is by telling them the truth... President Trump lost."
US Senate votes 93-6 to reject the Republican effort to block counting Arizona’s electoral votes for Joe Biden.
The 6 US senators who voted in favor of the effort:
• Sen. Cruz
• Sen. Hawley
• Sen. Kennedy
