I welcome the Court of Appeal's decision to stay the execution of the Federal High Court judgment seeking the deregistration of our great party, the ADC, and four other political parties. It is particularly significant that INEC itself initiated the application for the stay.
The disturbing spectacle of judicial contradictions and politically charged rulings playing out in our courts has placed the judiciary under intense public scrutiny. As ADC National Chairman, Sen. David Mark, rightly observed, the judiciary itself is now on trial.
Any attempt to undermine Nigeria's hard-won democracy through judicial manipulation is a grave danger to the Republic. If our democracy suffers further injury, history will demand accountability from those entrusted with dispensing justice. The judiciary still has an opportunity to redeem itself by standing firmly on the side of the Constitution, the rule of law, and the Nigerian people. -AA
INEC has asked the Court of Appeal to stay execution of the judgment deregistered Embattled ADC and their cousins such as Adeleke Accord.
2: Prof Amupitan is a good man to opposition ba.
3: Una see that FG not Tinubu’s hand no dey there.
4: where is the fire man, Bolaji?
Nigeria could not rescue an Army General and his wife. Yet, within 24 hours, his body was recovered so he could be buried according to Muslim rites, while officials repeated the cause of death supplied by the terrorists themselves. And we're expected to believe this without question?
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Kola Oweyo, a legendary thespian and scholar of African drama.
His iconic role as King Lapite in the timeless "Saworoide" immortalised his immense talent and teachings.
A great void has been left in Theatre Arts.
He will be sorely missed by lovers of African stories worldwide.
I join his family and fans in mourning this exceptional dramatist and teacher of social conscience. May his soul rest in peace. -AA
Message to Obidients
I have said that the Obidients are the greatest political resource for Nigeria’s political transformation.
Now, listen
Forget the primaries
Focus on driving @PeterObi to the presidency
30 good legislators would not change Nigeria
1 truly transformative President will change Nigeria.
Focus on Peter Obi. Support NDC. Get to work
NDC appointing Theo Abu to lead the media campaign is a direct affront on the Person of Peter Obi and the Obidient movement.
How will he campaign for Obi after all the grievous tweets he has against Peter? How
Tinubu should be ashamed of himself that his government is obviously keeping Elrufai in ICPC custody till the end of the elections. This is political persecution… We are not in the military government!
Some Obi’s ekukes came to spy on my platform and this is my response to one of them:
"You are as foolish as your Peter Obi, who can't stand the truth. Tinubu is criticised, Atiku is criticised by Obi’s mad dogs. None of them sued people because they recognise that we are in a democracy and people are free to express themselves. Obi has sued Deji Adeyanju, and I heard he has written his wretched letter to Kenneth Okonkwo. If he has such a thin skin against criticism as an ordinary citizen, he will certainly kill all Nigerians with the guns of the state if he ever nears any position of office, God forbid, because Nigerians love to express themselves. We need a tolerant democratic President, not an Obi who does not know his left from his right. Go and get a job and a life."
Henceforth, I will reply any Obi street urchin who comes to my platform to talk nonsense.
Correction please.
Atiku went to meet Wike to beg him to be VP. Even when votes were taken by a committee, Wike won yet Atiku went back on his word and insisted Okowa with less votes be given.🙏🏽
You see why you are daft. The party said Peter Obi is responsible for every elective position in the entire South East. The aspirants were told to pay N10m and N20m bribe into account provided to them by the caucus leaders, which the party named Peter Obi as the leader in the South East. The aspirant Obunike Ohaegbu said he won his election, but Peter Obi wrote another person's name in Johnwood Hotel, Abuja. He said that NDC told him that Peter Obi is responsible for the fraud. And you are still looking for evidence. Shame to you for real. Read below where I told him that I intend to use his name and message as evidence to prove that PO is responsible for this fraud. He highlighted my message and said, "I am Obunike Ohaegbu, aspirant for Nnewi North/Nnewi South Ekwusigo Federal Constituency and I am saying that I was scammed and the party blames PO."
Information reaching us from Atiku’s visit to Amaechi yesterday is, Atiku was at Amaechi’s residence to beg Amaechi for two things: funding & Amaechi accept to be his running mate.
Reports has it that Atiku nearly knelt down. He was frustrated, worried, & concerned.
Atiku will be OK sha!
No Southern Politician that loves their career will agree to deputize Atiku, it is self destruction.
It is the turn of the South to produce the President, it is madness to support a man trying to disenfranchise the South.
As it stands, he is working for his best friend Tinubu!
My advice to H.E. Mr. Peter Obi @PeterObi is very simple: don't let anyone push you to upset your base, no matter the threat.
Your base is your pillar and strength. If they do including myself will step aside, you'll be vulnerable and up for the taking. Then those people urging you on will pull the rug out from under your feet.
I believe you're wise enough to understand what I'm saying. That said, you need to know that because you enjoy an uncommon and organic love across the world, none of your political peers are happy with that and will stop at nothing to strip that love from you.
You know I'd tell you the same thing face-to-face because I know you're a good person who wants the best for Nigeria, especially the young people.
This is the time for Yunusa Tanko to leave Peter Obi's side and speak clearly.
What is he working with the NDC?
It's election season, he shouldn't be travelling with Peter Obi. He should be strengthening the OBIdient structures and ensuring everyone is carried along.
