Posting again to help rescue efforts for the #centralpark #budgerigar … there is some question as to whether or not this is #meimei or a different budgie. Observed on the #conservatorygarden lawn w/blackbirds on the morning of 10/12 @BirdCentralPark @BagelsAndWalks @wildbirdfund

@AnnSchurman @BirdCentralPark No and it was very chilly the day I saw and recorded her. Some people were suggesting that the reason she looked different is a change in her health or due to colder temps vs sightings during warm weather. 🙏

@BirdCentralPark On the lawn in front of the fountain with a large group of blackbirds. Then she would remove herself for a little bit, perch on the bench, then in a tree, then join them again.

@caysuh @BagelsAndWalks I don’t know - I posted it assuming that it was THE lost budgie (Mei Mei) but some people have reposted my photo calling it “another budgie similar to (Mei Mei).”

Since I doubt I’m the first to discover yet a 2nd rogue budgie, I’m assuming it’s Mei Mei 😊
