@Xeon4f145d96s1 @wesstreeting Convenient amnesia and factually incorrect…the current system was supported by medical schools and BMA. UKFPO did not ask for it - it implements the policy of the UK 4 nations (so it’s not just Wes you need to grumble to…). Also - more FY1s get their 1st choice than before

There has never been a guarantee that a medical student will be placed in a specific foundation region/post. Not meaning to be harsh/cruel - but it’s probably more nuanced than presented here
