@SwiftOnSecurity I am 58 and sold my first IT services at 15, so thats 43 years and counting. I have 3 macs, 3 NAS, 3 Windows systems, 3 intel linux systems for VMs and containers, 2 raspberry pie and a full unifi network at home. I still love learning with it.

@davepl1968 The black and white TVs at the time were 12”. I was young teenager and had a part-time job at the local electronics retailer and selling 12”’BW and 14” color was part of my job. We had no 13” TV in Canada, that more accurate US marketing rule didn’t apply to us :)

@lquail13 @ow2fiendforreal @HeyItsCherrry A customer has absolutely nothing to do with that. All we can do is chose to tip, if we feel it’s deserved. It is always 100% OK to not tip if we feel it’s not. It’s been at least a decade since I got service that bad, but it’s an option. Servers need higher fair wages, not tips.

@shanselman I run two copies of Immich. One for my fully culled, fully edited, fully metadata fixed (location and capture date), best of the best shots. I share this. Another for folders under work for just my eyes mounted as an Immich external library. Works well.
