@MasteyRemy@Jomboy_ zoom in behind the bench at the redline for the MSG ushers handing out hats to throw. Is this a regular practice for an original six franchise?
@GinoHard_@Jomboy_ What is in that bag that the usher brings up behind the bench that a fan reaches into with 0:15 left in that video? Looks like hats to me. Seconds later on the broadcast Ferraro has a brand new hat in his hand.
@Impact2HEAL@mattvanswol WSJ reporting that Lindsey Graham had discussions with Trump. He was one of the names I thought of. Also implies a deal was struck with Walz, though I haven’t seen anything come out from the MN side on this, but hope future actions confirm it.
@Impact2HEAL@mattvanswol 2. I have not seen any conciliation from Walz other than to say they e been cooperating all along. Don’t know what behind the scenes precipitated Trump taking a change in approach, and hope MN does the same. Happy the temp has been lowered, hope both sides got enough to stick
@Impact2HEAL@mattvanswol 1. I read the 8th Circuit ruling which seems to say the lower court rules of engagement are unenforceable, but doesn’t provide new rules of engagement between fed and locals. I’ve seen some conciliation from Trump, obvious in actions.
@Impact2HEAL@mattvanswol Still not sure who gets both sides to back down. Someone on the R side in Congress has to fear for midterm impact. Klobuchar has too much locally at stake to back down. Looking for voices of reason/influence on both sides who aren’t blinded by their own ambitions.
@Impact2HEAL@mattvanswol For my understanding, you’re referring to an NGO similar to the ones currently under investigation (day cares eg), but one that will fly under radar? So they get (some of) their funding back….the MN win?
@Impact2HEAL@mattvanswol I have been looking for that same option to de-escalate with both sides achieving a short term objective. I think you nailed it. I have been focusing on
the “who” that could step in and get both sides to commit to this. Has to be a D and an R with influence. Any ideas?
@smerconish I voted “All of the Above” btw. Had I not had that option, I likely would have voted Trump, as he should have shut this down when Zelensky responded directly to Vance, saying “we’re not going to rehash all of our meeting here in this forum”. He seems to enjoy the confrontation.
