This year we host in October the META-REP 2024, an international conference focusing on meta-science and replicability in the cognitive, behavioral, and social sciences. The deadline for submissions is April 30. Contribute to vital discussions on meta-science and replicability.
We had a great panel discussion about the robustness of science this evening. Thanks to all our panelists and the Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften (@badw_muenchen) for hosting our event. More pictures will follow soon.
Small reminder for our panel discussion about the robustness of science. The link for the livestream is now online at the website of @badw_muenchen: https://t.co/UxfCeSAS9u
We start at 6.30 pm with the panel. Please share and contribute with your questions. #metrep#openscience
Thanks to the @LMU_Muenchen press department for the possibility to present the aims of the META-REP Program to a wider audience. For all who are interested in the publication the interview is based on have a look here, of course without any paywall: https://t.co/8E9hOyKybu
We had an exciting poster session at the MetaRep Retreat. As we enter the last year of the first funding phase there many results ready to be communicated. We will also update our publication section so make sure to check it out: https://t.co/tWqtdN4x83

The Retreat of the Meta Rep program already starts with a highlight. @annemscheel gives a talk with the wonderful title "The soft underbelly of hypothesis tests: How to examine assumptions, build strong tests, and know when to do something better with your time". #metarep
For on-site participation, please register here: https://t.co/urBRPwEPt4 Additionally, a live stream of the event will be available on the day of the event at https://t.co/6YCK1rpRfR.
How robust can or should science be? META-REP is hosting a podium discussion about this important question of scientific rigor in cooperation with the Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften (@badw_muenchen) on February 6, 2024. #metarep#metascience#replication#openscience
Panelists are Karin Jacobs (DFG Vice President), Susann Fiedler (META-REP program committee), Kilian Schober (from the “Junges Kolleg” group at the BAdW) and Werner Bartens (science journalists at @SZ). More information about the event: https://t.co/FVIlIruVaB

Last week we presented the recent advances of the META-REP program at the Fachgruppentagung Methoden of the @DGPs_Berlin in Konstanz. A big thanks to Eunike Wetzel and @MarieSengewald for organizing our symposium. #metarep#openscience#metascience
Thanks to @questbih and the @meta_rep program for organizing this great event with us. It would also not be possible without the generous funding of the @VolkswagenSt Foundation.
