@GasperTheSith Agree. Breadth was the signal, duration wasn’t there yet. Today’s tape still has to close before anyone upgrades this from a warning to a regime.
UNI ripped. The protocol didn’t 🧐
Price jumped about 25% in a day. Futures OI climbed toward record territory. Derivatives volume exploded.
The exchange itself? Quiet. Daily fees and protocol revenue are sitting on their 30-day average. TVL barely moved. Part of that TVL bump is just the market bid, not new deposits.
So this isn’t “Uniswap is printing more.” It’s regulatory hope plus leverage getting there first. That mix rips both ways.
Doesn’t kill the long-term UNI story. It does make this bounce fragile if the positioning unwinds.
✅ Confirms: price and OI keep running while fees stay flat.
❌ Dies: volumes, fees, and revenue actually catch up — or the price holds after OI cools off.

ETF selling for two days isn’t a regime
Spot ETFs dumped BTC and ETH two sessions in a row after the Fed hike. Not one fund rotating. Several big ones sold at once. Over $1B left both wrappers in two days.
BTC funds are about $1B negative since last week. ETH is basically flat over the same window. Midweek inflows just got eaten.
That’s real. Institutional spot demand cooled.
It’s not “risk-off is here.” Same funds printed a huge green day earlier this month. Lifetime inflows are still intact. One red day is noise versus the size of these products. SOL and XRP funds even saw small bids the same day. Looks like rotation inside crypto, not a full exit.
Price didn’t break. BTC held $75–76k and bounced. No liquidation panic. ETF demand left. Somebody else bought the spot.
Confirms: a third ugly outflow day and BTC loses $75k.
Dies: a few days of broad inflows and BTC back above $82k.
Today’s prints aren’t final. Early tapes already hint at a flow bounce. Don’t call the regime until the session closes.

Solana is getting several confirmations at once — and they are not coming from price alone 🔥
In August, apps on Solana generated $143M (38% of all onchain app revenue) vs $47M for Ethereum. That is more than Hyperliquid, Ethereum and BNB combined. Third month in a row Solana stays ahead ✌
Institutional demand is there too. Spot SOL ETFs have now taken in roughly $1.3–1.4B in net inflows. But after a record week (~$153M into late August), flows cooled fast: only ~$6M in the week to Sept 4, and recent sessions are near flat or slightly negative.
The network itself is still printing activity records: 5.2B non-vote transactions in August — more than every other L1 and L2 combined. Late-August weekly pace hit ~191M tx/day vs ~88M a year earlier. Fees then rose toward ~9,200 SOL/day, Jito tips toward ~2,073 SOL.
So at the same time you get:
network usage → app monetization → regulated SOL exposure 💥
That does not mean SOL has to go up every day. ETF flows are no longer what they were a week ago. But when network activity and app revenue move in the same direction for months, it is more interesting than a single green candle 🌚
Price shows what the market already did.
These numbers help you see what is changing underneath it
⚙️ How much do L2s actually pay Ethereum?
Over the last 30 days:
Base: collected $3.3M → paid Ethereum $9K
Arbitrum: $412K → Ethereum $2K
Unichain: $12K → Ethereum $3K
Since Ethereum introduced blobs, settlement has become extremely cheap for L2s.
As a result, Base keeps 99.7% and Arbitrum 99.5% of the fees they collect.
L2s do pay Ethereum for security and data.
The more interesting question is: how much?
AERO — bullish, but I wouldn’t chase this candle.
Aerodrome generates ~$55M in annualized revenue at a ~$616M market cap — roughly 11× revenue.
The thesis:
→ Aerodrome + Velodrome liquidity merge
→ expansion to Ethereum & Arc
→ tokenized stocks / RWA trading
→ protocol revenue flows to veAERO voters
The catch: AERO is still inflationary. Without locking, you own the dilution while veAERO holders capture the fees.
At $0.62 after +48% in a month, I’d wait.
$0.40–0.45 gets much more interesting.
📈 Uniswap has nearly tripled its revenue in a year.
$28M → $81M annualized.
And this isn’t just a rising-market effect — the move is specific to Uniswap.
For UNI, there’s now a direct link:
More revenue → more buybacks → more UNI burned.
These are the changes worth watching.

The bigger picture:
Avalanche is evolving into serious institutional infrastructure for stablecoin-powered payments, treasury, and cross-border settlement.
• Circle brings the regulatory muscle and trust.
• Avalanche delivers speed, low cost, subnets for custom enterprise needs, and composability.
• AVAX stays the security & economic backbone.
While critics stayed negative, real corporations are already using it for real money.

To everyone who’s been mocking $AVAX and piling on negativity for years — thinking it’s just another hype L1 with no real direction…
The recent moves aren’t random. They’re the acceleration of a partnership that’s been running strong for over 4.5 years.

Proof it’s not just talk: A few days ago, Hyundai Card completed a real production-ready pilot on Avalanche.
They moved $20,000 in USDT between US and Mexico subsidiaries in ~7 minutes (vs 3-4 hours via traditional banks). First major South Korean conglomerate doing live cross-border treasury settlement on Avalanche. Plans to expand to Europe soon. ⏱️💰

Today (July 10, 2026), Circle got final OCC approval for its national trust bank (Circle National Trust). This takes USDC far beyond “just a stablecoin” — it’s becoming regulated banking infrastructure with federal custody and institutional-grade rails. 🏦
Avalanche is already positioned as a key partner in this shift.
Yes, but 2021 was a completely different environment. There was no approved spot SOL ETF providing access to a new class of institutional capital, no fast-growing RWA ecosystem on Solana, and nowhere near today’s level of crypto adoption as payment infrastructure. Those are meaningful structural differences.
If this works in practice, Ethereum will only strengthen its leadership position. There are already around $157 billion in stablecoins on the network, and that number is likely to keep growing. The idea itself is so compelling that, sooner or later, similar mechanisms will probably be adopted across most major blockchain ecosystems. These are exactly the kinds of innovations that move the industry forward. 🚀
#ETH
🔥 Vitalik recently shared a new idea for building stablecoins on Ethereum.
Instead of the current way — where you deposit ETH, borrow dollars against it, and risk getting liquidated if the price drops — he suggests splitting the ETH into two tokens. One token works like a stable dollar with much lower risk of big losses. The other token takes the upside when ETH goes up. These two tokens always add up to the original ETH, so there’s no debt and no forced liquidation when prices fall.
This approach could become a new trend in DeFi. It trades a small amount of price drift for a much safer and simpler system that doesn’t rely on constant price monitoring or sudden liquidations.
Ethereum has always moved forward because of people and teams willing to try new ideas early. We need more projects experimenting with concepts like this to help the ecosystem grow stronger.
🫡 I’m genuinely happy to see Litecoin getting more attention lately.
To me, LTC has always been one of the most honest cryptocurrencies ever created.
✅ No foundation controlling the narrative
✅ No endless promises
✅ No constant token unlocks
✅ No cult-like marketing machine
Its creator walked away years ago, leaving the network to stand on its own. Very few projects can say the same.
What has always fascinated me is how crypto communities can spend years shilling highly centralized projects in the hope of finding the next 10x 🚀, while largely ignoring one of the most decentralized and battle-tested networks in the industry.
⚡ Litecoin survived every cycle.
⚡ Every trend.
⚡ Every narrative.
For me, LTC remains one of the purest representations of what cryptocurrency was originally meant to be.
Maybe the market is finally starting to rediscover one of crypto’s true gems 💎.
