@WestCoastWalka Actually, not right. ETH is the store of valve equivalent to BTC for the Ethereum network. It’s designed to accrue value in a similar way, and is needed to incentivize validators in the same way BTC incentivizes miners
@SomerEsat Ethereum doesn’t need to be “saved”, let’s not get distracted so easily. Any proposal to direct staking revenue at the protocol level is a Trojan horse, thesis isn’t a new idea and should be rejected for the same reasons on-chain governance is rejected
@AllHailSatoshi@aave@ethereumfndn they can't bail out specific defi protocols. one day you'll understand why ETH is the most credibly neutral settlement layer
@tayvano_@_Enoch@VitalikButerin Chill Tay, let them hold hands. They will do good work and so will other community members, Ethereum is bigger than the foundation these days. And they are getting things done, let them be quirky. Your suggestion of gatekeeping and casting moral judgement is misplaced imo
@davidbailey_eth are you trolling? the tariffs are paid by US citizens, and any refunds will go back to US citizens. nothing is owed to any other countries, all the money stays within the USA. you've been brain washed
@CoineliusX@rushicrypto ETH is the most performant: 100% uptime, credibly neutral, multi-client, largest developer community, best tokenomics, home of defi. Ethereum is the future, and ETH is the best digital SoV. Nothing else comes close. You want fast then use tradfi...
@balajis “I’m bullish crypto” is such a simpleton statement. Most of crypto outside ETH and BTC is hollow and overhyped. Even BTC has major unanswered questions that need resolution (quantum, security budget). Until ETH takes a firm lead the market remains irrational and on shaky ground
@Evan_ss6@0xAmSS@fundstrat Nothing yet written in stone but staking que, AAVE lockups, transaction count and overall adoption tell a positive story… All ETH needs to do is stick to its principles, the bet has always been that it adds something new, positive and useful to the world
