Stop wasting credits generating everything at 1080p in Seedance 2.5. Especially for soc media.

My rule:

Closeups → 720p
Wide shots → 1080p
Detail-heavy wides → 4K

The captain closeup here is 720p and holds up perfectly. The water-heavy wide needed 1080p/4K for the particles and atmosphere to actually resolve.

Spend resolution where the frame needs it. Let the edit hide the rest.

One-shotting a fast-paced 20-second sequence is still extremely challenging. Even with Seedance 2.5, this took a few stitched passes to get exactly right.

Stitching gives you far more control, and references are doing a lot of the heavy lifting now, so spend real time getting those right.

▪️One of the biggest giveaways of AI video is when your character is centred in every shot.

It’s especially obvious in a wide follow shot from behind. Centre your character there and it instantly starts to feel like third-person video game footage.

▪️ AI loves to default to the centre.
▪️ Break that habit.
▪️ Push your character onto the thirds.

The shot immediately feels more natural and cinematic.

Fix: stem separation. Strips the music, keeps dialogue + SFX clean.
