VIDEO OF CHANG ZHENG 10B CATCH
That's... a lot of smoke from the interstage lol. But they caught it!
This capability allowed SpaceX to become *the* launch superpower. China could now do that too.

the more i learn about history, the more I appreciate America. America is actually an extremely cool and special anomaly in the timeline of civilizations. It's so successful that it's allowed the people inside it to lose touch with how bad things can truly be

@harald_murphy@Tesla@TeslaAUNZ@Tesla_AI Well done mate. Did you have a chance to test v14 against any roo encounters? How did it react? Did you have to apply the brakes yourself?
Holy shit I just realised what @elonmusk meant when he said he could light up a cigar and eat a cheeseburger at the factory floor of the terafab. Of course it has to be that way.
When you send a batch of optimus to a new planet/moon the optimuses have to build a factory and start making new optimises from the raw materials available from that plannet. And if you didnt bring enough chips (brains) you have to manufacture the chips in situ. Hence the terrafactory needing to be crude and simple for it to be installed on a brandnew planet far far away by a bunch of robots with raw materials that are readily available.
This is a huge deal that not very many people understand. Take for an example a traffic light system at at 4 way junction. At the moment its using sensors on the ground and image recognition to switch the lights.
But imagine what tesla could do with an "optimus head" mounted at the top. It can reasonably predict the approach from far away and time the lights perfectly every time. Its like having a cop 24/7 that doesn't make mistakes.
Pretty much anything that moves can benefit from real world AI.
@TheCaptainEli Careful with plastic bottles in the car. With the right (wrong) shape of the bottle, they can mimic a glass lens to concentrate heat on to the surface underneath, melting or worse.
@ElectricSingh I have tape markings on the garage floor that align perfectly to the edge of the viewfinder on my Teslaโs camera view. When the tape lines up exactly with the edge of the camera feed on screen, it means the body is 0mm away from the object Iโm trying not to hit.
