**** inconsistent ... "POWELL: Well, rather than being paid interest on your cash, you pay interest to the bank -- or if you borrow money, they pay you to borrow money. ****And if you lend them money by putting it in a bank, then they pay you money.****”
It has been a joy and a privilege for Metonymize to work with Heather and the team at Simpactful on some really exciting CPG use cases together. Can't wait for what this next chapter will bring for our clients and teams.

I never ask this, but I'm asking now: Please retweet this.
Texas plans to kill Melissa Lucio in four days. Five jurors say evidence was withheld from them. A bipartisan majority of the Texas legislature favors clemency. Why are you waiting, @GovAbbott?

@paulg Relation to Lindy effect? Neurons encoding older knowledge have predictive shelf life that is longer (and perhaps more robust) than ones with newer knowledge.

This has resonated with some folks so I'm tweeting it again. Don't stop yourself from solving small, silly problems w/ software. It can be fun and you can learn something.

There is another metaphor that I occasionally use to explain what graphical models are: Simulators. Suppose you are asked to generate iid samples from a given distribution. How would you go about it? Each of the
many algorithms that can be used to do this generation has a graph
structure that depicts the step-wise process used, and all questions about interventions and counterfactuals can be answered from the generating algorithm chosen. Note: no RCT required for any of this.
@yudapearl Thanks Dr. Pearl. This is also one of the reasons I think the original Calcu-ledger inspiration is ready for a reanimation. Causal machine assisted learning for everyone.
