Last night, the South Portland City Council voted to merge South Portland Bus Service and Greater Portland Metro. The merger will be finalized if it is approved by Greater Portland Metro's Board of Directors, scheduled to meet October 24 at 4pm.

Due to construction, the Route 8 Metro bus stop at Elm/Lancaster is temporarily closed. Riders should use the stop on Marginal Way in front of Trader Joe's.

Due to construction, the bus stop at 140 Main St in Westbrook (near KFC, bus stop #329) is temporarily out of service. During this closure, riders should use the stop at Rock Row.
