@ChrisCillizza A profession where management back themselves into a corner on whether a product-defining asset gets to call a shot here... and it's a big product and a big shot.
@WDWVacationer@friendchristoph The bridge already gets frequent-enough traffic for supply and trash trains and MassDOT has control of the rest of the tracks on either side.
A MassDOT v. Army Corps fight could see those trains turn into trucks, inflating service costs and worsening congestion substantially.
@davevail@friendchristoph CCRTA and the coach buses average 60-120 minutes off schedule during the summer because they're stuck in the same traffic as everyone else.
Having a train with its own ROW works. Surprised how people don't get this.
@nickbilton "...one extraordinary hour for one night a week in a world that consumes content around the clock."
My attention budget is limited and spread across multiple interests. I don't need 60 Minutes spamming my feed. Part of why I come to 60 Minutes, actually.
Don't mess it up.
@keegan_tweets@NilesGApol It's consistently plagued with pacing and production issues, many of which were made possible by Weiss/Ellison management.
I was a regular EN viewer during the Pelley era and then last year with DuBois and Dickerson. Big 3 lost me in between and right now.
@DylanByers@PuckNews The wrap on that story is still very generous to Weiss since she has singlehandedly brought about changes that have worsened products and standings for CBS News whether it's minute-by-minute or large-scale.
The job (and its trappings) will be more difficult BECAUSE of her.
@DylanByers Unfortunately, you've got it flipped.
China press opps for lead network talent remain minimal at best. CBS has two correspondents in there? Fine, have Tony work the edges with a counter lens.
Executive control and the choices that come with it? That might kill 60.
@milesintransit1 I mean, @EdforBoston (who Wu doesn't have to worry about anymore) might be "protecting" his constituents, but he's just asking for more cars to flood his zone. Bet his residents are happy with that.
@milesintransit1 I'm sure Lunar New Year is playing into staffing, equipment, and other issues, but yeah, considering this system is the backbone of HK society today, there's no excuse for it to be that bad.
You'll find the best frequencies on the three original lines all day long.
@milesintransit1 Olympic is an MTR property, but yeah, most residential-based retail does shut down at 10. In many cases, you're still allowed egress, but yeah, that's surprising to me.
@AlexSteigrad Do they imagine actually getting a sponsor for a relatively small, in-person private event? Who do they want to get and what kind of conversion rate do they hope to achieve in such fashion? This feels totally misinformed.
