Decreasing moves allowed back to minors per year down to three will mean there will be even more DFAs not less. Clubs will sign more vets that have options left to minor deals in anticipation of dropping them when options back to minors run out. Then these players will be vagabonds bouncing from team to team even more than now. With the increase of reliever innings pitched there will be a need for these disposable players as teams constantly need fresh arms.
@Sachinettiyil Lord have mercy on Crépin Martial Monga's soul. Eternal rest, grant unto him, O LORD,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
Amen.
You mean men, men who claim to be women. You are a national broadcaster that consistently obfuscates facts around sex because you’ve taken an ideological position the public overwhelmingly rejects. This isn’t news, it’s propaganda.
I want to personally thank @johnrich for standing with Upstate New York and calling out the hypocrisy.
While elected officials like @GovKathyHochul and @JohnMannionNY22 remain silent, New York’s renewable energy mandates are destroying prime farmland, forcing unwanted solar and wind projects into our communities, and driving energy bills through the roof.
I stand ready to fight on the front lines with you to stop any further projects that hurt our farmers, our families, and our way of life. Thank you for having our backs while too many of our current elected officials fail us.
I have been, and will remain, on the front lines against New York’s destructive climate laws. Over the last month, I visited the site of the deeply unpopular Scipio wind farm, called for action, published an op-ed with my plan to fix New York’s state-created energy crisis, and released a 5-point plan to lower energy costs while making our energy supply more secure and less dependent on foreign countries.
Central New York deserves affordable, reliable energy and leaders who will protect our farmland, not sell it out to Albany’s agenda.

Without pitching, it's bleak
With hitters who swing from their heals every time and never grow. Alvarez, Vientos, Baty, and Mauricio never learn. They need better talent evaluators because they keep picking players that fizzle in the majors. They never know when to move on and get what they can. The whole President/GM staff operates on too much hope and not enough reality.
When I first learned what they intended to do to the prime farmland and grassland habitat in Fort Edward, NY, upstream from my farm on the Hudson River in 2025, I couldn’t believe it.
How could New York go against its own environmental laws? How could it site these solar complexes, for foreign corporations, on prime farmland?
And so my research began.
I had no idea what awaited me. With each passing week, I learned how deeply evil the entire ORES and “green energy” playbook is for Upstate NY.
The fight felt hopeless - but I’m a stubborn person. I didn’t quit.
By God’s grace, @johnrich and I connected here on X.
He flagged this to the federal government.
A lot has happened in a short amount of time.
There are so many hard-working Upstaters that I have joined with in the last year, who have had the courage and selflessness to call out our governor and raise money for lawsuits.
American farmland and wildlife is worth fighting for.
This letter that was just sent to @KathyHochul is only the beginning.
I refuse to watch them pillage and destroy my home.
@jackunheard Like the oligarchs back in Russia, they want to retain their power for themselves. There are some useful idiots that help them in hope of getting some of the power and/or cash that dribbles down to them. The rest of us are all just drones for their plans.
The desire for cheap or free stuff no matter the cost is part of it too. Finances can be stretched so thin that people don't care about consequences. There are others who think they deserve it.
.
The problem is the consequences are dire. Russians, at the time of the revolution, sold the idea that it will be a better life. The King won't rule over you. It will be the people who rule, but all it did was transfer power to another set of now new elites, and they proceeded to kill millions, instituting their benevolent policies for your good.
.
So, it might not get that bad, but they will bankrupt businesses by taxing them and chasing them out of your area or closing their doors entirely.
.
Socialism / Communism ends up stifling the inventive spirit because there's not much benefit and the risk at least in Soviet Russia was death.
.
I don't want to hear about the socialism in Denmark either, the workers there are fed up with 60% of the population not working and living on their wages.
.
Forget about taxing the rich either. Mandami promised to tax the rich but is now pushing a real estate tax on properties valued over one million, but because of the high property values, most are valued at one million or above. A family that bought some property many years ago and isn't wealthy will be driven out of their home over these higher taxes.
@OhRyanMead Rangers need to be picking the best player available, not someone they project as near ready. Sacrificing elite talent for a good player is not good.
