Resetting my rain gauge and decided to stick it in the pumpkin to be festive. Rainfall started with thunderstorms last night ~9:30pm and stopped ~1pm this afternoon. Total so far is 3.8 inches #nywx #weather #wx #Rainfall

Looks like my total from #HurricaneHenri2021 will be 3.3inches, that’s the most I’ve recorded for this summer from this rain gauge. New City may have been a bit off the path for the storm but we still got plenty of rain @nynjpaweather #nywx #HurricaneHenri2021 #rain #flooding

7pm update! I’ve reached 2inches of rain according to my rain gauge (+1.4in!!!!). Rain has not stopped at all and has stayed at a stead heavy pace since the last update. Winds have stayed calm. My backyard is turning into an ocean

3pm update on #huricanehenri Rain has not stopped at all and actually got heavier. Winds are still calm. Rain gauge is up to .6 inches of rain now (+.4in)

Data from an Air Force Reserve reconnaissance aircraft, NOAA Doppler weather radars, and surface observations indicate that the center of Tropical Storm Henri made landfall along the coast of Rhode Island near Westerly at approximately 1215 PM EDT this afternoon.
