The Customer Service Debacle at Nigerian Airports
Yesterday, I met several passengers scheduled to travel from Lagos to Owerri on @flyunitedng .
They had been abandoned to their fate after spending the entire day at the airport.
Some had been stranded for more than 11 hours, while the airline repeatedly postponed their departure time without providing clear explanations or adequate care.
Although we had a cordial interaction, that does not prevent us from once again stating the obvious: Nigeria's aviation regulators, especially the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority @NigeriaCAA, have failed in their responsibility to rein in the irresponsible conduct of domestic airlines.
What is even more disturbing is that many of these airlines simply do not care. Delays have become routine, poor communication has become standard practice, and passengers are treated as though their time, comfort, and dignity have no value.
If your husband can fill 12.5kg cooking gas.,buy crates of eggs... subscribe cable TV, buy data and fuel generator in this present condition of Nigeria...
Madam please give that man some REAL PEACE OF MIND.
Watching this game just thinking about how the Nigerian federation failed their country and players.
Nigeria have better players than both of these teams combined yet couldn’t top a group involving this same South Africa side.
Arsenal fans will spend the whole summer arguing over £70m-£100m wingers, yet barely mention Yan Diomande.
Maybe because he doesn't have the fancy PR machine behind him. Maybe because he isn't the trendy name everyone is tweeting about every day.
But from a pure football perspective, why exactly are we ignoring him?
The guy is 19 years old, can play on both wings, beats defenders for fun, works like his life depends on it and actually contributes defensively. In an era where some wingers treat tracking back like a punishment, Diomande embraces it.
We keep saying Arteta wants intensity, versatility and players who can dominate duels. Well, Diomande ticks every box.
If Yan Diomande had a Brazilian passport, a €90m price tag and Fabrizio tweeting about him every 12 hours, half of this fanbase would be calling him the missing piece of Arteta's project.
Instead, we're acting like he doesn't exist.
Watch Arsenal get linked to him in 12 months after his value has doubled and suddenly everyone will pretend they always rated him.
Yan Diomande is one of the best young wingers on the market. The question isn't why Arsenal should want him.
The question is why Arsenal aren't even trying.
My guess is Raphinha or Vitinha...
They are the only superstars that fits the bill, they are feasible, and play in priority positions...

I have big hopes for Ivory Coast, Morocco and Senegal at the world cup this year.
They have what it ticks to cause enough upsets and win it for Africa for the first time.
THE MAN PETER OBI.
Whenever Peter Obi is in the media, before the press, or on social media, he talks mainly about current national issues bedevilling the nation, and how to rescue Nigeria. But whenever members of the ruling APC or other opposition parties are in the media, they often talk more about Peter Obi, without recourse to current issues affecting Nigeria as a nation.
So again i ask, Who is really incharge of this nation? Why on earth will the APC government in power and all strong opposition parties in Nigeria take on one man as their common threat and common enemy. A man who is also in the opposition. A man whom they claimed came 3rd in the 2023 presidential election. Why the coordinated attacks against him?
There must be something special about Peter Obi that they are seeing, that is scaring the shit out of their lives. Something unique that will reset Nigeria and return it back to her past glory, which they don't want to happen because it will be a goodbye to their wealth without enterprise. Unnecessary wastages, lootings, stealing, and their century old structures of criminality.
Fellow Nigerians, whenever a group or groups of persons start attacking one man without showing any evidence of his wrong doing, know that it is because of envy, hatred, fear of his personality, capability, and integrity.
Such a man is the man for the job. Bad people are always scared of things they stand to lose if good people come to power. So they can do anything including blackmail to scuttle that.
Vote Peter Gregory Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (OK) for the 2027 presidential election. Vote for NDC.
If you vote and defend your votes, we shall kick Tinubu and his evil APC out of power in 2027. We shall stop other crimal elements from smelling, testing or coming close to power.
A new Nigeria is possible. NDC ✌️
