Cristiano Ronaldo is an all-time great…

…but not top 3.

Why?

He’s not a complete controller of games like Lionel Messi,
not as individually dominant as Diego Maradona,
and not as revolutionary to football as Pelé.

Elite scorer? Yes.
GOAT-level footballer? Debatable.

Top 3? Not quite.

Football is more than goals. 👀⚽

🚨| 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐙𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓: Most Man of the Match awards in Europe’s top 5 leagues 🏆🤯

1. Lionel Messi – 222
2. Eden Hazard – 62
3. Marco Reus – 48
4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 42
5. Papu Gomez – 38

@Logicull @FCBJimmy_ Thats crazy talk. Consistency was not in his game at United. Had some great moments for sure. But also had some absolute stinkers. His greatest asset was his relentless determination to keep trying.

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@jayjayr01 Very well said

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@jayjayr01 Perfect timing with social media. Real football people know cr7 is not the greatest

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@maktub_61 He tormented one of the best teams in Europe all night long, nutmegging for fun like he's playing in the park 😂

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@maktub_61 Messi will drop deep, get involved in the play, which obviously means more touches. A chance created could be a simple 2 yard pass across the box for someone to score. After some other team mates hard work. Thats why stats dont paint the whole picture.

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@JamesSt94802316 @maktub_61 How? He states cr7 is more complete & tactically sound. Which is just wrong. Yes he's played at more clubs, but that doesnt make him better. Imagine saying Maldini isnt the best defender because he only played for one club 🤷‍♂️

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@CryptoMichNL wtf are you talking about. It peaked Q4 2025. Its been in a bear market for just a few months. Your delusional

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@23SevenHQ Did you miss the part where he was MOTM nearly every single game? 😭

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@art_foot He was good, but its so over rated. He only won the b'dor because United won everything. Cr7 was not the best player in the world that year.

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@CBSSportsGolazo @jamesbenge The entitlement is crazy 🤣🤣🤣

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@Its_B_here Choose Messi & Yamal in a heart beat. Get to witness pure magic for an hour. Not interested in watching Mbappe do 60mtr sprints & cr7 ab crunching 🥱 gay sf

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@JustFax20 As always, his fans mirror there idol. Complains & chucks his toys around when things don't go his way. Big babies the lot of you 😭

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@JonHeyman Terrible. Messi, Tiger, Federer, Bolt

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@FutbolMuu We need a serious discussion about your football knowledge

[mezkatan @mezkatan]

@UTDAlex8 Donnaruuma?
Zanetti was a RB
Pirlo, Kaka & Del Piero not quite
CR7? Wtf
Where's Platini? Baggio? R9? Van Basten?
You've got half the team wrong
