The fact that these types of arguments even exist is funny.

Here’s a real-life example for you. The co-founder and co-CIO of Ambrus is @WillAmbrus. Before starting the business six years ago with me, he was strictly an independent trader. Made millions personally for years out of college.

No job at a prop firm, no job at a bank, no side hustles, no job ever outside of being a trader. An independent trader for almost a decade.

He then went on to start a hedge fund, raised half a billion, backed by some prominent investors including a large multi-strat, and has consistently been one of the top performers in the space.

This isn’t a “I know a guy” story, this is a real example of someone who made money as an independent trader for years and then scaled it to a much larger capacity.

It’s a small group that will succeed trading independently, but this applies to every single lucrative thing in this life.

If you want it, put in the work and go for it!
