1.  Now we are seeing a strange lopsided exchange of detainees. For as few as three Israeli hostages being released, almost 200 Palestinians would be released.

2.  This is because over the 70 years of Israeli oppression thousands of Palestinians had been detained. The Hamas operation could not capture as many Israelis.

3. The oppression and injustice of the Israeli regime is obvious. They have been detaining thousands of Palestinians against international law.

4. The exchange cannot be one to one. Hence the lopsided exchange in which 3 Israelis are released against 200 plus Palestinians being released.

5. The kidnapping of Israelis and making them hostages, succeeded in forcing Israel to release the detained Palestinians in exchange for the hostages.

6. It was a high price that the Palestinians had to pay. But it achieved the objective of freeing the Palestinians detained by Israel.

الأزهر يجدِّد تحيته للمقاومة الفلسطينية الشجاعة في وجه الإبادة الجماعيَّة والتهجير القسري

يستنكر الأزهر الشريف ويُدين بشدة العدوان الصهيو..ني الإرها..بي على مخيَّم اللاجئين بمدينة رفح، الذي استهدف النَّازحين الأبرياء في خيامهم وفي المناطق التي خدع أهل غز..ة وزعم لهم أنها مناطق آمنة، وارتكب جريمته الشنعاء على مرأى ومسمعٍ من العالم أجمع، والتي راح ضحيتها عشرات الشهداء والجرحى من الرجال والنِّساء والأطفال.

ويطالب الأزهر المجتمع الدولي باتِّخاذ موقف حاسم وعاجل من أجل تنفيذ القرارات والأحكام التي أصدرتها محكمة العدل الدولية ضد الكيان الصهيو..ني وقياداته، وفي مقدمتها الوقف الفوري للعدوان الإرها..بي على رفح، وفتح معبر رفح لدخول المساعدات الإنسانيَّة والإغاثيَّة إلى قطاع غز..ة، ووقف آلة القتل الصهيو..نيَّة الغاشمة.

ويجدِّد الأزهر تحيته وتقديره لمقاومة الشعب الفلسطيني الشجاع، الذي أثبت للعالم كله بسالته في الدفاع عن أرضه وتشبثه بها، وتمسك هذا الشعب بالحياة على تراب وطنه ورفض كل محاولات المحتل للتهجير القسري، رغم ما يواجهونه من إبادة جماعية لم يشهد التاريخ الحديث لها مثيلًا، وتتنافى مع كلِّ الشَّرائع السماويَّة والمواثيق الدوليَّة.

كما يجدِّد الأزهر تحيته للشعوب الحرة ولطوفان الشباب ممَّن خرجوا في جامعات أوروبا وأمريكا وشوارعها وميادينها؛ للتعبير عن الرفض العالمي لهذه الفوضى التي إن تركت تسير في هذا الاتجاه البائس فإنها ستدفع بالعالم كلِّه إلى مزيدٍ من الحروب والصراعات والكراهية، وفقدان الثقة في المجتمع الدولي والمؤسَّسات الدوليَّة.

في اليوم الذي يحتفي فيه المجتمع العالمي بحقوق الإنسان يطالب الأزهر بتفعيل الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة عام 1948م في مثل هذا اليوم ليكون واقعا ملموسا في حفظ حقوق الإنسان الفلسطيني الذي أقدم الكيان الصهيوني الإرهابي على سلب أرضه وإهدار دمه
