@AndyHazelton With the latest update, how much of it is due to the recent upgrade of the model? There could be biases that we haven't learned yet. With that said, most guidance is pretty robust with the oncoming El Nino. Just some food for thought.
@DHTheWeatherNut@onwithjohnwx Part of this is due to a global helium shortage. They try to avoid using hydrogen, and can't at all in certain areas/situations.

May was warmer than normal overall and featured a record-setting early-season heat wave that pushed temperatures to 95°F on May 19. The month ended with a much cooler feel, as temps dropped to 39°F on May 31.
