#Farzadmoradi, a young man from Izeh, was transferred from detention to the hospital with facial injuries and a stomach filled with multiple swallowed spoons, after being pressured to make a forced confession. Reports indicate that Farzad Moradi’s life is in danger. He has been held in concerning conditions by the Khuzestan Province Intelligence Department since his arrest on the 7th of Bahman. According to received reports, during his detention he was subjected to beatings and severe torture in order to extract a forced confession. Informed sources say that due to the severity of his injuries, Moradi was secretly transferred to Khomeini Hospital in Ahvaz and was hospitalized for five days. These sources state that upon his transfer to the hospital, serious facial injuries were observed and doctors were forced to carry out emergency medical treatment. It has also been reported that a large number of spoons were removed from his stomach. Despite doctors’ recommendations to continue treatment, it is reported that the medical process was halted and he was returned to detention for further interrogation.
